Great peace of kit for the money, first one I have purchased but ticks all the boxes.

Love this, as my I Phone now becomes a brilliant video camera. After fitting to the Gimble and connecting via blue tooth the gimble keeps the phone level and removes any juddering and makes holding the phone so much easier. The phone is controlled by the switches on the handle making it all one handed. Can also be used as a tripod. Great product.

One particular impressive feature was the way it can automatically take multiple photographs and stitch them together. Not recommended if you have a phone case and want to keep swapping between having the case and using the gimbal. The clamp digs into my phone case

I've always struggled to get steady video footage with my phone, but this gimbal has made a huge difference. It takes a bit of getting used to, but the results are impressive. The tracking feature is particularly good for keeping the subject in focus. It's a bit bulky to carry around, but the smooth footage makes it worthwhile for me.

In short, it doesn't perform as per instructions. I have a Google pixel 7a smarfone. After switching on the stabiliser, and placing the phone in the centre of the phone clamp, placeholder, after following all the instructions, the whole stabilise took a mind of its own and started shaking perfusely. It doesn't center automatically. When I pressed the Red function button for portrait or landscape mode it just turned around leaning down out of shape and balance.I connected by Bluetooth and dowloded the aochuan app via QR code on the instructions...followed every instruction along with the YouTube and FB tutorials and...nothing!Maybe I'm just unlucky?Maybe I got the bad egg in the box.Either way, its going back.I can only review on the item I received.Terrible!!

I’ve had a gimbal for my camcorder for a long time. It does wonders for stability of footage. It’s terrific to have this one for my iPhone, a quality item that appears built to last.To get the best out of it, you need to install the app on your phone and connect to the gimbal using Bluetooth. That’s easy enough. The app opens up a wide range of functions such as tracking, slo-mo and time lapse.The instructions are less than perfect and the Aochuan website is unhelpful. Fortunately, there are plenty of YouTube videos to help get the best out of the gimbal.The head is impressively adjustable for angle. Operation is mainly through a single button with your thumb. It certainly couldn’t be called intuitive. For occasional users, it could do with a reminder on the handle of how many presses of the button are required for each action. I’ve stuck my own little label on there. Otherwise, while it’s straightforward enough for anyone who uses the gimbal regularly, others may have to take a quick refresher, each time. Note that it’s probably easier to use for right-handers than left-handers.I haven’t tried gesture control yet but it could be useful. The mini-tripod is welcome, even if only for when you want to put the gimbal and phone down.The gimbal will let you significantly enhance the quality of smartphone videos, e.g. for YouTube or TikTok. The controls let it down slightly, versus pricier gimbals I’ve had the chance to try, but they’re usable enough. At the price, it makes a worthwhile buy, if you’re at all serious about video quality.

The gimbal itself might be really good but its hard to be massively positive when for £100 you get terribly written instructions of light grey on white, my eyesight is very bad and even my partner could not read it without glasses and a magnifying glass, then the same focus group decided that the accessories did not need to have a convenient bag or carry case because we all love lunking the box around with us, this is also quite a pain for us lefties and not enough to stop me using it but enough to be annoyed by it.Recommended for experienced users who maybe already have their own carry case.

I never had or used a gimbal before, but I've always wanted one, so I took a 'flyer' and ordered the Smart XE. Decent price. One problem that I have with the manufacturer is the user guide does not give much info on how to operate the device. For those of us who are novices about the gimbal, it would have been nice to have full operational information in the guide. Instead, I had to rely on YouTube for proper instruction.After combing through several YouTube videos, I finally found a very good and informative video from a YouTuber called Lo Knows Tech. It's a little over 16 minutes entitled "Smart XE Smartphone 3-Axis Gimbal iPhone and Android Demo and Review". The video goes over just about every detail on how to use and enjoy the device. Now I am confident that I can produce better photos and videos.The only other 'knock' on the device is that my iPhone 14 is in a protective case. It doesn't fit in the gimbal holder properly, because the holder has a bump on the back that is part of a built-in stand and it isn't easy to pry the phone out of the case. So I had to rig a taut elastic band over the phone screen and around the back of the gimbal holder to keep the phone from falling out of the gimbal holder.

Kann auf ein größeres Stativ geschraubt werden.Man kann das Handy einspannen und über Knopfdruck die Position ändern von horizontal zu vertikal. Sogar mein Samsung Note Ultra passt hinein, wenn auch nur noch ganz knapp alle kleineren Handys haben also auf jeden Fall super Platz.Lädt man sich die passende App dazu aufs Smartphohn hat man viele weitere Möglichkeiten, wie zB Gesichts-/Objekt-/Bewegungsverfolgung...Tipps zum Filmen etc.Ich mag es, dass ich über den Stick heranzoomen kann und die Schärfe regulieren.Zusätzlich gibt es auch noch ein Licht, dass man magnetisch über dem Handy befestigen kann, um bessere Lichtverhältnisse zu schaffen.Da der Stick wirklich stabil und gut verarbeitet ist und auch sicher steht, wiegt er natürlich auch etwas. Hat man ihn sehr lange in der Hand, wird der Arm schon mal lahm.Ich kann ihn empfehken und sagen, dass es sein Geld auf jeden Fall wert ist.

I was impressed with this gimbal! I have been wanting to purchase one and there are some that are SO expensive that I couldn’t justify purchasing. This one was just the right price and works great! Very stable, compact, and easy to use. There is an app you use with it that explains how to use it and makes it easy to switch between settings. There is so much more that can be done, looking forward to learning more about it and getting even better with filling content.
