I will try to answer this the besy I acn, combining years of experience using various types of clippers and learning this new clipper style.

First, always keep all documentation and boxing for your clippers regardless of simplicity with the exception of clam packaging. Only keep these packages long enough to guarantee satisfaction with the product.
In keeping all of the paperwork, you will have warrantee information and any instructions that came with the device.
Now, cleaning and Maintenance:
Step 1: adjust the fine tune ring to 0.8mm

Step 2: press down on the blade, against the white cutting strip, toward the back of the clippers which will cause the blade to “pop off”. Be sure to have your other hand behind the clippers ready to catch the blade assembly.

Step 3: with the provided brush, carefully brush debris from inside the mechanics toward the blade edges and away. Then from one edge to the other toward the tips of the blade. You may need to move the white cutter to one end, then the other to completely clear the blade of debris. Note; when brushing blade cutting edge, clear it from the metal side while removing debris.

Step 4: with blade mechanical side upward, lightly oil the friction point of the blades, screw points on left and the right and the axial position.

Step 5: turn the fine tuning adjustment to 2.0mm

Step 6: align the blade with the product so the bottom edge of the blade will slide into the slot and push the blade into position using both thumbs. If not aligned, this could cause damage so be sure everything is aligned.

Test the clippers for operation by turning the unit on and off.
