Excellent!
This is the lost art of "Muscle Control" not equal to isometric, the only thing really similar is the posing routines of the modern Body Builder. It consists on controlling with your mind your muscles, easy with the biceps, difficult with most muscles, you can easily (or not so easily, this is difficult stuff) track your progress, by your improved control. The really important part is the ability to Relax voluntarily your muscles. Have your ever heard in Aikido or Tai Chi, that you should relax? Well this is the only way to do it, unless you spend a life time doing those arts.Maxalding is the method of Mr. Maxick with the help of his friend Monte Saldo, there are several books that I can also recommend, because they have good illustrations and different exercises:"Muscle Control" by: Maxick, same author as Maxalding, a few differences in the exercises."Muscle Flexing" by: Antone Matysek."How to learn Muscle Control" by: Otto Arco, there is in YouTube a video of him doing his routine! For a change you should also try: Charles Atlas "10 steps to a better body", not so much about muscle control but relevant because is about exercises with NO equipment. You can't become a Mr Olympia with these, but you can get a nice healthy body. Also recommended are: "The lost secrets to a great body" by: David Bolton about using very light dumbbells to exercise in the style of Sandow. Because that system only works when you make the mind body connection, that needs muscle control.I believe that this exercises are important and deserve to be known, you can get several of the above in PDF, but I prefer the convenience of the kindle format. All are available on kindle.Peter

Very interesting system for physical health and strength
I heard about muscles control from a YouTube video about Maxick, an old time strongman. I found it so interesting, I searched for books describing his method and found this book. I immediately started doing some of the exercises/drills. I'm not sure about the benefits of this method but increasing the mind body connection through drills and exercises sounds like a good idea. Either way the book and exercises are fun and has peaked my curiosity.

Exercise at it's most sublime
As a 30 year gym-rat I am amazed at the beauty of these exercises. These exercises develop tendon and joint strength as well as muscle size and strength. The only reason I didn't give a five star review was the misspellings and the awkwardness of the some the exercise presentations. Content was great!

Good but really needs to be proofread properly.
This text has clearly been OCRed from the original, with little to no checking of the results. It takes an effort sometimes to work out what the author is actually trying to say. Amusing in part, but mostly frustrating as the thread of the argument is obscured with the mental translation.

Bad transcription
The subject matter is interesting but it is marred by the sloppy presentation of the text which is riddled with spelling and typographical errors, almost in every sentence.
