These are AWESOME!
YES THEY WORK. I used these to hike 5 miles in the middle of the night and it took some getting use to and slightly understanding the settings but they worked great! It’s very fun and cool to see in pitch black darkness. They seem durable enough and they are easy to use. Everyone that I have shown them to or let test out are amazed! These things are awesome!

It just simply works!
The goggle build quality is very good. The case, straps and eye cup are of very good quality. The eye cup does a great job keeping light from escaping if you are in a situation you don't want others to be able to see you. The ability to use various levels of IR to make yourself less noticeable to others is great. Having spent 12 years in the Army infantry, I would highly recommend this item. Unbeatable bang for the buck. The only thing I would add is a detent so when the goggles are raised from the face they could be locked in the raised position.

Software bugs
Super easy user interface, great clarity and visibility in total darkness. Mount and headbands feel solid. Would get 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that, as previously mentioned by others, the software freezes and the only way to fix it is by completely removing the battery. A task not meant to be done in the night, especially if you don't have a mini Phillips head

NightFox Swift Pro binos
For the money, these binos offer alot of features... From Dual IR's to recording to helmet mounted...very good zoom feature and easy to use..I use these for coyote hunting and with an IR flashlight, can get even more scanning distance! NightFox is making a good name for themselves in the affordable night vision market!

Kinda Disappointed 😔
To start, i have, and love, the nightfox swift ( 1 ). Night Fox in general is a great company.Having that been said though...Running the NFS2 at 60fps, and then re-entering the men6, will 100% lock the system. You will need to remove the battery to reset. That in of itself is a huge negative. But..It really seems to be the only one, that ive seen at least. The battery is removable, which is awesome. Except there is no quick release to do so. At night, in the dark, with a small screwdriver. Its not really doable. I personally have a solar power bank on the back of my helmet.I would love to see some kind of upgrade to allow a quick battery swap.Speaking of. The NFS2 comes with a dove tail mount, which is awesome, and well made. The picture does look better than the NFS1, but.. the built in lights, are too streamlined, and focus the beam to the point that any surface within 15 to 20, will cause a big bright spot right in the middle of your vision/ screen. This is Not, an issue with the NFS1. Although the piccture quality of the NFS1 is not as good as the 2.There are two color options in the picture setting. Being black and white, whichis standard/ same as the NFS1, but also a green monochrome setting. As it does look pretty cool, you get better definition and contrast in black and white. The NFS2 is a little bit bigger than the 1, and a little bit taller.Overall its good. But until the Very Few issues are fixed. I will most likely primarily use my NFS1, unfortunately.Again, Night Fox is a great company overall. This venture just needed a few more months in the lab , in my personal opinion.

Cant go wrong
The media could not be loaded. ^ Obviously the phone camera footage doesn’t do it justice, but these do super good. It does have the problem where it will brick but the button next to the charger port fixes it up. Just keep it in 30fps and hopefully some firmware will be released to help. You can definitely see in absolute darkness. The only killer I found is that the IR illuminater is too close to the camera, so dust is a huge killer to seeing really anything until it settles. Other than that it’s a solid device and honestly it’s better than having nothing at all if you ever needed them. The included head strap works well. They’re good to go in my book.

Constantly locking up requiring battery removal
I first noticed the lag to display, then the constant lock ups. I finally got tired of removing the battery. Really needs a diopter adjustment as glasses don't fit inside the rubber frame.

Adequate for most general uses
WHO THESE ARE FOR : GENERAL PUBLIC. Despite the marketing images with helmets and all, if you are looking for a general pupose set of wearable (and they are usable as goggles) Night Vision Device(s) (NVD), than these will work for you. These are perfect for the 'cryptid' researcher types who need something in the woods that work, and that will not break the bank. I've used PVS-14's in the military and currently live in the mountains, the NightFox Pros are not military grade, but they are perfect for a person with a reasonable income, that simply wants to have access to functional night vision just in case. I've tested them in the forest here, and they do fine. The ability to set the IR's level is good for folks that simply want to either save power, or avoid folks who are also using NVDs. Like the other reviewer's stated, these do have some firm ware issues, hopefully NighFox can resolve those as well.

Oh Nightfox, you really dropped the ball
So past reviews have said about firmware freezing. Seems like they weren't one offs. It really is as simple as: Press the menu button, and theres no way back without it freezing. So you're forced to press the reset button using a pin. Yeh try doing that in the dark. Don't have a pin? Then your battery will just drain away all night. Seriously Nightfox, how did this get past your testing team? This isn't just a hurdle, it's a full blown dead end, and I thought Microsoft had design flaws. This takes the cake, the tin and bakery. I don't care if these goggles can see through steel, lead or women's lingerie - the product is a shambles and I didn't think twice or longer than a nanosecond about a refund. And while I'm writing this I might aswell mention that the rubber cover to protect the usb socket is such a flappy mess, chewing gum would be a better alternative.Oh, they also see in the dark.
