This is a must have if you donโt have a good factory radio
This aftermarket radio is a must have for any jeep JK that doesnโt have a good factory radio. The installation took me quite a while, but I am very meticulous. I heat shank all the wiring, harnesses connections. Everything I needed was in the kit except for SiriusXM. I needed to buy an extra piece however that was just my misunderstanding of what SiriusXM ready means this goes in my wifeโs jeep and she absolutely loves it. They only thing I havenโt got the navigation SD card, it is well worth the money and looks great

Awesome Stereo for my Jeep Wrangler JKU!
Easy wire connections if you are familiar with stereo installs. Included PAC adapter. Steering wheel controls work great. MANY presets for FM and AM. Pulls in countless stations. SiriusXM ready, so may connect later. 4 camera inputs, can connect a backup camera WITH SOUND (great for trailers). Will easily connect one soon, plus am going to connect a dash cam. Fits perfectly in dash - doesnt block anything and included a USB connection plug with 2 ports that fits in round port on console area. Fits like it is made for it ... but wait, it IS made for it. Tons of custom setting plus Android Auto! (Also Apple car play). Memory card slot. Too many extras to list. More features than a new car! Sounds great with the stock speakers. Better and louder than stock stereo. Plus it's quality built.

Not worth the $$ and no gps
Radio works well, it's a complicated install and you need there cameras to get them all to work right. There is no gps , but only the antennae, then they attempt to charge you $180 for the memory card to have gps. Probably not worth the $500

It doesn't need to be that difficult
Purchased the ELEV8 head unit WITH the Jeep specific install kit (because Jeep likes to be difficult with proprietary BS with their Alpine stereo systems). I expected the kit to provide a cable harness that would plug directly into the head unit AND the Jeep harness. Instead, I get a harness that plugged into the Jeep but needed to be spliced onto the ELEV8 wire harness. Fine. The nice thing would be to include specific intructions/wire diagram for doing so. Nope. Long story short...spent the better part of a day matching wires, soldering, modifying the Jeep head unit space (oh yeah, they failed to say that a slight modification of part of the dash would be recommended for it to fit properly), connecting, hunting down a blown fuse (that was my fault) and starting it up. As the unit fired up, the "Stinger" logo appeared, There were a couple of beep-boops and then, and then....NOTHING. All I get is a message that says "no signal"?!? I pressed buttons - beep-boop but nothing else. I turned volume up and heard static, but nothing else. Needless to say I was so fed up with the entire thing that I reversed the entire install, boxed up the unit and it giant pile of wires and I'm sending it back. Never mind. I don't recommend this unit until Stinger pulls their head out and makes a Jeep specific plug and play harness.

Exactly what we we've been wanting!
We purchased this as an upgrade for our 2007 Jeep Sahara Wrangler factory radio and its perfect! I need a bluetooth when I drive, which this has, as well as it has other features that can be activated. It does have navigation "capabilities" but you have to purchase the media card (I think it is) to activate the navigation. We haven't done that yet but its next on the list! Definitely worth the price & it took my husband about a 1/2 day to install it.

Excellent product!
Great product! The only thing I could wish differently for this product is that it was a true plug and play experience. You will need to crimp or solder wires together for this setup! That being said, it is by far the superior JK radio alternative. Itโs very responsive, crystal clear picture and sound and seamless integration with the steering wheel controls and iPhone. Highly recommend this product but make sure youโre ready to work!

Works great
I have read some reviews about the color on Apple Maps being to light see the map. I donโt see this. It is a shade lighter but nothing worth complaining about at all.

Returned without opening the box
I was under the impression that this was a new , 2024 release but it's the same old ELEV8 unit they have been selling for years. I was confused because i know Stinger has new models of other radios in 2024 and since this and the another Stinger Store listing of the same radio, at a slightly cheaper price by the same seller (Stinger Store) led me to believe one was a new model and the other was an older model. Neither listing contains a model number, just UPC numbers that can't really be cross referenced. I even asked the seller and reviewers if this was a new model or what the actual model number was but got no response. When i received the unit i realized it was just the same old unit as the cheaper listing, but this one included the install accessories where the cheaper model did not. It was annoying to have to actually place an order just to find out exactly what model number they were selling, but i guess that's how they chose to do it for whatever reason This item is what they call the STH08JK Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) Elev8 8" Radio Kit, where the cheaper one that looks identical from this same StingerStore seller is the exact same ELEV8 radio without the " kit" that has the wire harness and such Hopefully this saves some the trouble of having to order it just to find out what should be clearly labeled on the Amazon listing....
