I love this walking stick it does stand on its own it has a comfortable handle and you don't have to buy a right or left handed one as this is useful for either side I wished I had bought it before buying the other 2 sticks

Love this! A gorgeous colour that is easy to spot, if you forget where you've put it. It's a nice weight to carry. I feel safe using it, it doesn't skid on shiny floors and is very sturdy. Great value for money

Bought for my elderly, frail mother. This stick feels very sturdy and the handle is very secure feeling, not slippy like some she has tried. She likes that it has a loop to slip over her wrist so she can keep hold of it in case she drops or knocks it, but it does stand on its own even on a carpet. So far she has only used around the house, but is very happy with it and would recommend. Personally I love the bright, shiny purple colour. The finish is very good and for me it is quite easy to pull apart to fold, but mum is not strong enough to do that. It is very stable in use.

I have finally admitted defeat and accepted that my mobility issues are not going to improve (wear & tear/old age to my right knee). I had been using a walking pole, but this didn't provide enough stability and sturdiness. I have been using this cane since April. I like that that I can get a strong grip on the handle and that the base has 3 areas for contact with the floor, which makes the cane feel very sturdy. I bought the purple one, as this is my favourite colour. I'm surprised at how many complements I've received since using it. I would definitely recommend as an aid for any experiencing medium mobility issues.

It is fit only for those elderly persons who can take a walk on the street. Not good for very elderly who barely move from bed to toilet etc.
