My son does HVAC work and needed something to hold screws from air handlers etc... which are often in tight spots or are in the attic. With this magnet, he no longer worries about keeping track of screws. If someone else jumps into the job while he goes to take care of something else, he simply hands the magnet/screws off to them. It's a little pricey for what it is, but it is literally the only magnet like it that I can find. It works well and appears to be well made.

I am very impressed with how strong the magnet is. This hangs on the side of my bag, and everything I have put on it stays on, even when I move my bag around.This also worked as a great way to stop a locked door from closing behind me. Clung to the metal door frame with no problems.

This review now properly reflects my thoughts on the product itself. High quality magnet makes holding screws and small parts easy. Must have for your service bag in the HVAC/R trade.

I use it pretty much every day, it holds screws and certain bits. It helps a lot.

I love this thing! As an electrician I clip it on my belt loop most of the time to hold screws and hardware which I can easily hand off to someone at the top of a ladder if they need something. It helps me keep track of panel screws that we can’t afford to lose, hold a long tape measure to an I-beam while laying out light fixtures, or just hold my tools if I run out of pockets. I love it and can’t wait to figure out what else it’ll be good for!

It works as described and imagined. Worthy to note that it's definitely a high quality build and the magnets are definitely better than what you would find with most competitors.
