1145 Gt 550 Motor

I had previously upgraded my sons power wheels lil quad to run on 12v from the previous 6v and it ran great for over a year. However our property has alot of steep hills and his quad was also towing a trailer do the factory motor burned out. We replaced the motor with this hpi racing 21 turn 14v motor. We couldn't be happier. This motor is great. It's very powerful and quicker than the factory motor. Thank you hpi for making such a high quality motor

As mentioned by another reviewer, this is an excellent upgrade motor for any 12V power wheels. It's a direct replacement, all you need is the correct size pinion gear (available online or bring yours to a hobby shop, extremely easy). We've installed 4 of them now- 2 in each power wheels and difference is amazing. They are a little quicker, but the big change is in power going uphill or in the grass.

Using these in my son's Monster Traction PowerWheels F150. Replaced along with the 32P 16T pinion gears necessary to work with the PW gearboxes. The truck clearly has more power and speed on hard ground, but for the back yard the performance and runtime is severely diminished. I may try increasing the voltage and upgrading all the wiring, but will probably end up going to a different motor with more torque if that doesn't help.For somebody with a road-going PW and minimal grass or hill usage, these would be a great upgrade for kids craving more speed.

Purchased as a replacement for Titan 12t for Stampede :( not good, ran half the speed as original, took it out and went back to original. This was on a standard Traxxas ID 3000 8.4v NiHM battery, not sure if a different configuration would be helpful, however I doubt it.

Made our power wheels Super fast. We added a 2nd 12 volt battery in series and Oh my god its FAST! If you go 24 volts be sure to add cooling fans. They have held up very well for 2 months now. Excellent!UPDATE: Over a year now and still running strong. Burned off 2 sets of tire treads! I recommend only adding an extra 6 volt battery (18 total) as a 24 volt system is probably a little too much! speed. These motors rock!!

I just received it and installed it in my Traxxas Slash. I am very disappointed with it. It is much slower than the Titan. For less than $20 I won't even bother returning it but I am now going to order a Titan. When that goes I guess I'll get a brushless setup.

Kids have a power toys jeep and one of the leads broke off of the motor and no way to reatach.Manufacurer says you have to send it in to have them replace the motor. I searched the RC toy sites and they said to use this motor. It is rated at 14.4 volts but battery is only 12 volt. You must replace both motors so they are the same. It was a direct replacement although you have to also get the correct tooth pinion gear. You need to count your original pinion gear and order the same or bigger for more speed and smaller for slower. I got the original 13 tooth and this thing goes faster and climbs better than original.Both speeds and reverse work with this replacement. You also need to change the leads to bullet type of conectors.

I receivd this motor yesterday, so I can not comments about the durability. But the construction and quality of the motor is much better than the original motor came with Traxxas RTR 1/10 Stampede. It does not say where it manufactured, but the package has instruciton in Japansese which tells me that this motor is sold in Japan as well. I did research little bit more and found out they have office in Japan as well. This indicatres that this motor must be good or at least decennt qulaity as Japanese marker is tough market to be in as quality and performnace requirments are high.If the motor breaks in few weeks / month, I will update this review, so far I am very satisfied with this motor.
