I am new at making sorbet and read enough to decide to get a refractometer. I am learning to like things being easy, without losing effectiveness. The AquilaPro Digital Brix Refractometer is easy to use and clean and helped me produce a delicious raspberry sorbet. I had to add quite a bit more syrup.

I am so happy with this and highly recommend it. It is so easy to use and according to my sorbet success rate I believe the % is spot on.

Great performance. Tried with a manual refractometer and the digital was really on the correct percent or close to it. I would say this unit is pretty accurate. Definitely worth the money and the convenience is nice. The digital display with back lighting capabilities makes it super easy to read with large numbers.
