I was looking to replace my 50 year old ironing board whose rivets finally gave out. So many of the new boards had thin wobbly legs. This board is very sturdy, easy to close, open and height adjust. Its extra width is great for ironing table cloths or to iron seams while sewing quilts. The attached iron stand works great and makes for more ironing area on the board. The point is still narrow enough to slide shirt shoulders over. The chord holder is the answer to my forever problem of the chord getting caught up and wrinkling areas I had already ironed. It’s well padded and has a heat reflecting cover for added ironing efficiency. I was concerned the underneath tray would bump my legs but it does not. Great engineering!
