I got the 60x80 size weighing 17lbs. I’ve only had it a few days and can tell I’m sleeping better using it. For years I’ve usually slept only about three hours before waking up and then alternating between wake and sleep for the rest of the night. Exhausting. This blanket has definitely helped with that problem because I’m sleeping longer now by about two hours. I can’t tell yet if it’s too light in weight for super deep extended sleep and may buy a heavier blanket to try. But I’m definitely keeping this 17 pounder because I have not had my usual 5 a.m. hot flash since using it. Maybe the metal beads are cooling? Whatever the reason, I’m sleeping better with it. Material: The blanket is not super thick or bulky and is easy to handle. I just sort-of shake it out in the morning (good arm workout) and put it back on the bed. The cotton exterior feels thick and appears to be sturdy. I like how the blanket looks. I got it in white and it actually is a true crisp white. Looks so nice I didn’t even put a cover on it. Five stars! Review: Highly recommend - It is the perfect weighted blanket for me. Great product, easy to clean, helps me sleep more soundly. Highly recommend. I got the queen size. I share a king bed with my spouse but I use my own blankets and this is the perfect size for my body without taking over the whole bed. I use a thin cotton blanket underneath and another one on top of the weighted blanket and don’t overheat. ## Features - SOOTHING COMFORT: A weighted blanket provides gentle, comforting pressure that can help to reduce tossing and turning, making it easier to fall and stay asleep. Made with all-natural materials such as cotton fabric and irritant-free filling, it is gentle on the skin and will not irritate those with sensitivities. And beyond its practical uses, a weighted blanket also works as a calming tool for toddlers and children, helping to soothe them like a gentle hug. - HOW TO CHOOSE: The weight of the blanket should be about 10% of your body weight. For example, a 150 lb adult would use a 15 lb weighted blanket, and a 65 lb child would use a 7 lb weighted blanket. The blanket should be no longer in size than the top of your mattress and should not hang over the sides of your bed. Please reference our chart to determine which blanket is right for you. - UNIQUE DESIGN: The structure of Bare Home Weighted Blanket is designed with reinforced stitching to prevent beads from shifting or leaking while you are sleeping. Smaller pockets allow for even distribution of weight over the surface of the body. Our blanket features corner loops that can be used to secure a Bare Home Duvet Cover with corner ties. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified free from harmful chemicals and dyes. Label ID: BJ025 166851 - CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Hand wash or dry clean if needed. Hang dry or air dry. Pair with a Bare Home duvet cover or weighted blanket cover in the appropriate size to protect your weighted blanket and reduce cleaning time. - REST ASSURED: We take every measure to ensure that our products are of the highest quality. Sleep on them for 30 nights. I got the 60x80 size weighing 17lbs. I’ve only had it a few days and can tell I’m sleeping better using it. Five stars! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend *by A***R on September 3, 2026* It is the perfect weighted blanket for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is GREAT, but also recognize what it is, but AWESOME!!! *by N***R on October 4, 2019* If you like being underneath a lot of covers, regardless of whatever temperature you want, this may be nice for you. I was a little skeptical, but I absolutely adore my weighted blanket now. It is true that the glass beads don't insulate like regular blankets do, so in the summer time I just have it on top of a regular flat sheet, and I stay cool. In the winter I stack flat sheet -> weighted blanket -> comforter, and I stay warm. I can be super comfortable any time of year. Also recognize that it is filled with glass beads, and it a little fragile. No matter how it's made, it's still full of 17 pounds of glass balls, so be careful with it. I never lift mine by the edge, I always try to support a large portion of it from underneath. I'm also not rough with it, and would be cautious giving it to a kid. Every now and then I can find a tiny glass bead here or there. It's rare, and they don't bother me at all. I simply notice one rarely, then toss it in the garbage. Never bothers me, and it's really rare if you're just gentle with it. I would pay attention to sizing guidelines available online. For me personally, 17 pounds is perfect. I'm 160 pounds, and it's definitely the Goldilocks weight for me. I'm also 6'2" and it's long enough for me, but it's not quite as big as a typical full size flat sheet. I have not tried to clean it yet. I always have the flat sheet between the blanket and myself, so I never make direct contact with it. Again remember that it is filled with a lot of heavy glass beads, so be careful. I plan to occasionally hand wash it, very gently, in a bath tub, then lay it out flat to dry with lots of airflow. I want to ensure that the wet beads never let gravity pull them against the stitching all at once (don't hold it vertical). But I will spend this effort on this blanket because it's freaking awesome, I really like this blanket a lot. If you're still reading this, but this blanket. You're clearly interested, you've read this far, so you know how to take care of it, and it's really good, so buy it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/590545059-bare-home-cotton-weighted-blanket-sand-60x80-17lbs](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/590545059-bare-home-cotton-weighted-blanket-sand-60x80-17lbs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
