Seiko Men's Analogue Automatic Watch with Stainless Steel Strap SRPB79K1

Once again seiko does not disappoint when it comes to value for the price. I've only had mine for a couple of days but the hacking and hand winding 4r35 is running about perfect right out of the box. The bracelet is very good quality (exactly the same as the one on the snzf/ sea urchin).The case is beautifully finished and the drilled lugs ( that all watches should have for ease of strap change) are a nice touch.I chose this model because of the brushed stainless steel bezel and the hand wind movement. The brushed stainless bezel gives it that professional diver/ tool watch aesthetic. My only suggestion to Seiko might be to make the exact same watch proportionally, except with a 40-41mm case diameter instead of 44mm. I think it would sell very well. I have average sized wrists for a man. The 37mm SNK series is too small for me but the 41mm SNZF ( Sea Urchin) is just right. I would not recommend this watch to someone with skinny wrists, it will look a little big and feel a little heavy.

Solid as a rock quality time piece! Keeps time accurately has a nice heft to it. Looks good on my wrist and it’s easy for me to read. I also like the Seiko quality touches. Plus the price was great!

Ok, I’ll write more later but here’s what I have so far. The manual with the watch does not match the watch. It is good for a number of models but, as far as I can tell, none listed are the same model number as this watch.The crown does not screw down. This is odd for a watch rated for 100m. I am not confident this is much more than a “you can wear it in the rain and wash your hands with it on” kind of watch. I was hoping to be able to wear this surfing, windsurfing and white water kayaking. Not so sure of that now.All that said, it is a nice looking watch. It feels substantial. For the price I’ll keep it but I’m not sure that it’s a real spor watch. Be careful.

It's always been a goal of mine to have a very nice watch. And this is my first REAL watch that I have confidence in.Had to do my homework before I made the purchase to make sure I was getting a good deal and so far I am not disappointed. I did have to take it to a jewler to get it adjusted cause I have VERY small wrists. Now it fits perfectly!First and foremost, package arrived with the watch in a Seiko box. The box also contained instruction manual and a certificate of authenticity which is a BIG plus! Will add more pictures to the review later.I love that the watch is mechanical/self winding. Which means it doesn't require a battery, but is instead powered by winding the crown or by the movement of your wrist. The watch will last for years with proper care.It is 100 meters water resistant. You probably won't wear it that deep if at all. If you do make sure the crown is pushed all the way in.At the time of this writing I've only had the watch a few days. I will update this review as time goes on. But so far I am impressed with the watch. Very affordable and great quality. Seiko is known to have a good reputation and this is further proof of that.Update 1 July 24 2020: the Watch is still in great condition. I make sure to clean it every couple weeks and wipe it down with a soft rag. The time did become off a couple times but that was mainly due to my wallet having a magnetic money clip. I have since replaced my wallet and now the time should stay accurate.
