Makes it really easy to understand The Tarot! I don’t believe that Tarot is a one size fits all, but if you are looking for a place to start, this book is a great resource for beginners.

I read this book straight through which for me is rare. Bakara has a writing style that is like sitting down with your best mate, chatting and sipping dirty martinis. An easy flow in her writing style means the information she imparts sticks. Informative, inspiring, witty...if you drop the f bomb occasionally then you'll love this unstuffy, unwhoooowhooo, no b.s. style book on tarot. Thanks Bakara it's a great book. 👍

EXCELLENT READ I have read MANY books on tarot, and this is easily one of the best for me so far. Bakara Wintner writes in such a clear relatable no-bullshit type way. If you pick this book up, you’ll probably find yourself nodding your head at the examples she so honestly shares from her own life, as she relates them to the archetypical meaning of the major arcana cards. This is an excellent resource for people who are beginning to hear the call and feel the silent but insistent pull towards the wild depths of tarot. This is also a brilliant read for more seasoned readers such as myself, who enjoys the esoteric layers of tarot and understands that it is both an ancient established system as well as a breathing, evolving one that needs to be worked with in a way that makes sense in the 21st century. I love to be inspired by fellow tarot scholars and practitioners, and see myself adding my own voice to the chorus at some point / Callie the unapologetic tarot nerd🤓✌🏻

I really didn't like the title of this book but bought it on the strength of the reviews. However, WTFIT is one of the most interesting books I have read on Tarot and the format is very engaging. I particularly like the personal anecdotes that follow each MA card, as they add context and relevance to each description. Having read many, many tarot books, I like this book very much and welcome this style of writing and teaching that brings Tarot bang up to date with modern day living:)

I've been looking for some alternative guides to tarot as I've been finding a lot of books are just more of the same explanation of the Rider Waite cards. This was what I was looking for. I liked reading about Wintner's personal background to the tarot and links to each of the major arcana. The guides to the minor arcana also were straightforward, insightful and gave a more specific and modern approach to their interpretation. I've been going back to this book repeatedly in my own readings. I hope there are more tarot books by this author in the future and I'll definitely like to read them - especially anything about tarot combinations.

Loved this book! It was my first intro into tarot and i have learned so much good information i feel confident moving forward into readings. Straightforward and fun, the authors personality comes through in the pages, it felt like a was listening to a friend guide me through the tarot i really enjoyed it

Absolutely loved this book. It’s not for the faint hearted, but it brings tarot up to date and keeps it fresh. I love the way Bakara describes how each card relates to her life, it made sense to me and helped me see the cards a little differently. One of the best books I’ve read on Tarot and definitely has a more modern vibe to most!

Absolutely AMAZING. Myself and my friend were blown away at the accuracy of our readings thanks to this book. She describes each card so perfectly it makes giving or receiving a reading so much more entertaining and meaningful. A fantastic way to learn from scratch. If you love tarot or want to start learning all about it, get this. You wont regret it. Thanks Bakara!
