But these are very well made, the temples pieces are strong, the XL size fits my husband's large head, and he loves how easy they are to slide over his eyeglasses. He has macular degeneration and the Polaroid quality lenses are exactly what he needed.s

Those drugstore wire clip-on shades that are an alternative are actually quite heavy & cumbersome. These fit over my thin wire prescription glasses & totally hide them. The fit goes beyond that in their design by blocking sunlight on the top, sides, etc. The tint is a nice grey that doesn't darken your view &/or distort colours. At $80 Canadian, the US price would be the top end of what I'd prefer to pay; though a trendy designer brand like Raybans or Oakleys would cost $100+. The soft-shell case is nice.

Yes, they are big. But that’s why I bought these fitovers - to fit over my large prescription glasses. Works better for me than clip-ons. Lightweight, quality product. Protects one’s eyes at the top and sides better than traditional sunglasses.

Best sunglasses I've found. Fits over my glasses easily. Looks good. Excellent color for protection from bright light and glare. Wrap around sides great for protecting peripheral vision.
