Smooth, well blended clay
Very nice texture, no debris or lumps. True to color, fun to work with

Carpenter, Not the Tool
My son loves it, said it can be a little dry but we just freeze and thaw it...Just fine. Not a professional sculpter but I we thinks its good, solid buy.

Fires in a pit with or without temper
Arrived very moist, ready for a wheel. Very very fine/smooth consistency. I fired it in a pit with no cover sherds and a lot of damp wood, and only got a couple minor chips and cracks that were due to my impatience and inadequate wedging. Fired equally well with and without temper added. Clay grows mold, so cut it up and let it dry if you don't plan on using it for months.

Feels like plastic
I don't know what this is, but it is the oddest clay I've ever used. It's feels like plastic. It's like a non-Newtonian fluid. The harder you press, the more it keeps it's form and resists. It's "embryonic" memory is wild. It cracks when you wedge, when i cut my base too thin and tried to rewedge right off the wheel, it cracks! and is constantly thirsty. It holds it form like magic, and comes right of the wheel with no slip on your hands. It's so weird. I haven't fired yet. I only use reduction so I'll edit the review with an update.

Do Not Buy this clay!!!
Not usable. Came in covered in black mold. I still tried to shave off the mold and work with it, but kept cracking lime others said. Doesn't look like a clay for pottery. Do not waste your money and time

Not too bad if you're just starting out.
This clay wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best I've used. For the price is was great and if you're just starting out making pottery then I recommend it but it was very hard to become pliable enough to work with. I did not use it on a wheel though, I used it to sculpt. But like I said, great beginners clay and good size amount for the price.
