I’m taking a class on pen and ink and these are perfect for a beginner. A set to test the waters.It doesn’t come with a good box so be prepared to come up with a decent storage solution. I found a small tackle box to store a lot of my art supplies.

Way better than I thought it would be. They look nice and work well. I little on the light and small size, so they'll probably won't stand heavy wear and tear. Definitely a great starter set.

At first I was skeptical but now I love them. Great comic drawing quill pens! As an artist, it has now become my go to drawing tool!

I did not enjoy these dip pens. I felt they were scratchy, poorly made, and gave inconsistent results.

So I'm glad there's an increasing interest in ink illustration sparked by the Anime' Toons.But if you're serious about taking up the art, these pens are a bit on the rough side. I mean they work, but could create frustration for a beginner, making them "fight their tools" a bit more than necessary, especially at first when you're still working out how far you want to go with this "ink" stuff.On the positive side, they are tough enough for packing around in a school backpack, which is something to seriously consider if you're in high school with a tough commute and class schedule.I use my set. They aren't my favorites but they are dependable, which is what counts.

I was so excited to receive this set since I thought it would be super versatile for my needs. I instantly regretted it when I held the pen holder that was meant to be for the smallest nib. The nib kept falling out and wouldn't stay put. So I can only use the other pen holder and 4 nibs instead. One pen holder and one nib is just wasting away. The nib won't even fit one of my main pen holders (not from this set or brand) either, so I'm wondering if I got a faulty nib.While the rest of the set works fine, I'm still very disappointed and will stick with my Tachikawa holders instead.

The product works great for the most part, the smallest non for some reason does not grab ink what so ever so it was unusable, but the rest of the pieces work fantastically.
