The Journeymaker's Planner 2024

I received this today and was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of it, it is the perfect height and width, the spiral design is perfect, and the thoughtful detail of an attached page saver is very appreciated (those were my initial thoughts)... then I open the book and begin just quickly looking through a few pages and this book is beautifully illustrated, reader friendly (if you have trouble with some fonts), thought provoking, helpful, and informative... since we're a couple days into the new year and I couldn't start 1/1 I'm going to truly begin 1/6 and reflect on the past week starting 1/7 looking forward... I'm going to throw it in my purse tonight so I can do some of the things I would have normally logged in Dec had I ordered sooner at lunch (which is MY FAULT alone as I did not place the order until 2-3 days ago maybe, it actually arrived early)... as corny and cliché as it sounds, I feel excited and energized to begin this written journey, and for it to be in something so so pretty to be able to keep forever... one may even decide to leave these to their child(ren) once they've passed on...I have already decided I will be ordering one for 2025 Dec 26, not after the new year... blessings to all on their individual journeys ❤️

I have purchased many many journals in my life but this journal is the most comprehensive, well organized, journal I have ever purchased. I love everything about this from the deep, reflective questions, to the weekly pull a tarot/oracle card, to all the monthly and weekly planning goals and spaces to write and keep track of things in, to the weekly 5 things to be grateful for. Just an outstanding journal that has helped me gain clarity, direction and deeper self awareness. I can't recommend this journal enough!

This is my fourth year using the Journeymaker Planner. I've used several others, including Daphne's (lovely) Diary, but Nicole Cody's Journeymaker offers deeper, inspiring insights to pull the user throughout the year. The planner has space for the user to pull guiding cards for each year, quarter, month, and week. There are areas that encourage the user to plan and fulfill goals with periodic check-ins and self-assessment questions. There is plenty of room to jot down daily happenings, along with spots for self-rewards, favorite crystals, and gratitudes.Very well made, a high-quality product. The spiral binding allows for the journal to lay flat while writing. The hard board cover protects it throughout the year and beyond. The planner is so well done, it inspires the user to keep going and I rarely miss a day filling it out.

I've tried a lot of planners and this is the first one that I haven't drawn a blank at the prompts. You will need a crystal and some oracle or tarot cards, plus the obligatory pens and a blank journal. I also like that she gives some good examples in a broad selection of things to work for in your 2024 project. It is a little woo, but not so much that you spend all your time trying to do all the rituals and weekly prep with little time left over. There are self-care aspects built in to the mechanics of the planner and not just added as an afterthought. Since it came late in January, I have some catching up to do, and I'll probably get the 2025 planner in November to give me time to do the prep before the new year starts up again. Also kudos to the author for avoiding the toxic positivity cliches that can clutter other planners.The planner pages are A5, and my only quibble is that I usually like my planners sized larger sized, usually close the dimensions of B5, so I may just go with the larger PDF next year. The colors are gorgeous and there is color and illustrations throughout. It's a nice mix of warm and cool tones throughout the planner and the colors are slightly muted which is what I like best in any of the planners I use.There are no monthly tabs, so I'll probably invest in some.All in all, this is a gorgeous and well thought out planner and good for anyone who is wanting a planner for growth and healing.
