Because we found her lying in it several times, I'm gonna take a guess that she does like it and it's keeping her warm enough. I do wish it would be easier to tell if it was on or off though...we flip the switch, wait a few minutes and then feel the bottom for any heat. That's not always practical. Perhaps something you can feel on the switch itself when it's on. My husband set it up and said it was easy. The price is pretty good too. I'd certainly pay for items for my own pets, but it's not too expensive for a stray cat that we'd like to keep warm in the winter. At first she didn't want to go in it, so I put her favorite cat treats scattered inside and then she started using it. Now that it's freezing at night she's in it sundown to sunrise. I was a little worried about the heated mat starting a fire, but it only gets slightly warm, just enough that you can feel it to the touch, so I don't worry about it at all.
