This product is amazing! I'm truly in awe! I wish I'd taken some photos of my radiation burns just 6 hours ago vs what they look like now, as i write this. This needs to be made easily available at EVERY radiation clinic everywhere.I'm receiving high dose radiation to my head for a glioblastoma diagnosis. I walked in to the clinic today, defeated and ready to beg for any kind of break they could offer. My radiation site was blistered, oozing, itchy, and so inflamed it affected my parotid and pituitary glands to the point it hurt to move my jaw and neck. Regardless, i proceeded with radiation, knowing this cream was in my mailbox at home waiting for me. I applied it as soon as i got home and opened my package, and felt some immediate relief.I took a nap, and upon waking, noticed the symptoms I listed above had nearly gone. With ONE application, there is no more oozing, the swelling is hardly visible, the itching is minimal and bearable, and i can once again move my neck and jaw without pain (although the glands are still swollen, there is marked improvement).The product came with some nice informative guidelines. A little bit really does go a long way. I will be taking this with me tomorrow when I see my radiation oncologist to get his final approval to use even before my treatments. I think this product should be shelved and sold at every radiation clinic across the world. It really is THAT great! I will update after speaking to the Dr. Please, if you or a loved one are experiencing any type of symptom like I've described, don't hesitate to take the plunge on this! It's effects have been remarkable for me.Sidenote: I had previously tried essential oils of frankincense, lavender, chamomile and tea tree (and will continue for their therapeutic benefits to the tumor and myself) these oils caused no pain upon application, and did provide some relief, but nothing compared to this. I also tried 100% Aloe Vera gel given to me by my Dr, which caused an intense stinging sensation upon application to the blisters. The Camwell cream caused NO pain like the aloe gel did... it was immediately soothing instead. There was no notable odor, and it blended into the skin well, and was hardly visible (although i would still recommend it if it smelled like skunk and painted me pea-green!)

i got this camwell cream to try and calm my peri-oral/nasal/orbital dermatitis, which is made worse by the use of steroid creams. i happened upon this cream on amazon and after reading reviews was like, wow if this can help with radiation burns then maybe it will help with my dermatitis. i love the all the top ingredients in it are herbal extracts and there are basically no chemicals. it has worked wonders for me!i use the camwell on my entire face (in addition to the dermatitis, i have adult non-cystic acne), and then after i apply the camwell i apply a few other things to the dermatitis areas - cbd oil and calendula cream to area around mouth, nose, and eyes, then around the nostrils and outer corners of my eyes i use weleda skin food.when i went to the dermatologist the other day, she commented on how improved my dermatitis was, and while i am using multiple products i do think that the improvement is largely due to the camwell - because i started using it more recently and the improvement of my skin has been much greater since introducing camwell.i have spent a lot of money on different high end skin care products because i have acne and i also like trying new things. the price of this small tube of camwell is comparable to that of a high end beauty cream, but it has superior ingredients and it really works. i know that most people on here are buying the cream for radiation burns from cancer treatment, so i understand the complaints about the price, but the cream is very effective and a little bit goes a long way, so i hope that people don't find it too cost prohibitive.

The good thing about this was it didn’t sting when applied. But I was looking for something to take away pain from radiation burns and this didn’t do it for me. I used same brand lotion on my hands during chemo & that worked great.

It got me through radiation with less damage to my skin than was expected. I also used organic castor oil. Don't skimp on application. The area I that I typically applied more lotion on healed much faster.

I decided to wait until 1 month post radiation for Breast Cancer treatment before sharing my review. I used Camwell for 4 weeks of radiation and nothing else. My skin did beautifully until around 2 days after my final treatment and then it became angry. I added Aquaphor on top of the Camwell and within 1-2 weeks healed up. At my 1 month visit my radiologist stated I was 'ahead of the curve' on where most people are and he was definitely going to add Camwell to the list of recommended options. I did use 2-3 tubes over the 2 month period. I did not find any offensive odors and it does have a light tinge of yellow coloring. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone going through radiation. It's not cheap and the tube is smaller than expected but my outcomes speak volumes.

I am early on in my radiation treatments (5 down 25 to go) but I had a bit of pain since I am very fair skinned and burn very easily. This cream works really well, and the container although small looks like it will last for three weeks or so. A dollar a day for the skin relief it gives is worth every penny.Update: now 2 weeks in I can say with confidence that this product is amazing. What is also amazing is the company’s customer service. I initially bought the wrong type of Camwell and the return was completely hassle free even though it was my mistake. A representative from the company called me to make sure that everything was okay. I assured her that it was and was able to tell her how much I loved the product. She is even sending me a coupon which I will most likely pass on to someone else in the cancer ward since I have already ordered a second tube which should see me through my full course of treatment. If you know of anyone going through radiation please share the name of this cream with them.
