Although the lamp is very good, the magnifying portion is too small for my use. The lamp is a little top heavy, so it wants to tip over if you bend the arm too far down. The good points are the led provides adequate light under the glass and the magnifying portion is also good. For the right purpose, this is an excellent lamp, just not for me. I don't regret buying it though, because it can come in handy - removing a splinter, threading a needle, etc. Not anything constant or moving - like reading, doing your nails, etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Stem can't support the weight of the lens *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2019* I thought I was getting a really good deal going by previous reviews, but now, I kinda wish I'd splurged and went for something better. The posable stem seems like a good idea on paper, but in practice, the wire inside is way too thin, and the lens just falls flat on the table every time, making it completely impossible to position it where I need it. This one seems to grasp the surface table you clip it on better. I got this one because of the metal clip. So far it has held up well and seems to stay in place better.
