Be careful of dripping!
This has totally changed the look of my bathroom, and I’m so excited about it. I had one of those dirty cigarette filter nicotine yellow colored acrylic tubs when I moved into this place 8 years ago. I’ve always hated it. No matter what you do, it looks dirty. It had scratch marks from previous people washing their spastic dogs in it. Finally I’ve had the time to redo it, and I went with this kit. It has totally transformed my bathroom, and I can’t wait for the 7 day curing period to finish so I can finally use it! 3 more days!My only problem I had was where the paint was on the vertical areas, it dripped down into the base of the tub and left thick drip spots. It’s not that noticeable, and I may try to sand it down in the future…but may not. It’s not THAT noticeable unless you’re looking for it. Overall though, I’m really impressed. The odor is about a 6 out of 10. Nowhere near even as strong as the caulk I used. I didn’t even have the window open for the third coat because it was raining heavily. I sent pictures to a family member, and they thought I had bought a new tub!I’ll update the review accordingly if I have any issues once I actually start using it.One last thing is to make sure you have an extra brush or two…I think my dripping paint problem could be related to water on the brush. Only one brush was provided, which I washed out after the first coat. Three hours later, the brush was still pretty damp, but it’s the only brush I had. Same for coat three. It could be because the brush still had water on it? When I do the tub in the second bathroom next month, I am making sure I have additional brushes to have a dry brush each time.

Great for touch ups , and tile fireplace makeovers.
We used this kit for one major project and some touchups on a tub that had a spot of chipped enamel as well as damage created by oversized overflow plate that was exposed after replacing it with a new plate.Tub repairWe used a "art" paint brush for tub touchups of a chip and scratches from an oversized overflow plate. The tile paint didn't "fill" the chip it did improve the color and match our white tub so its not anywhere near as apparent as before. The overflow plate damage repair looks 100% better and really improved the look of the tub. For this repair we did remove the overflow plate and clean with alcohol, then steel wool in rusted area, then wiped down again with alcohol then with light oil.(Major project) Tile fireplaceWe applied directly over tile and grout in our fireplace and the results look great -- very clean and elegant.UseThe paint goes on very easily and lays pretty well. You will definitely want to cover your floor (and glass doors) if you are using this on a fireplace as there can be a fair amount of splatter/ drips.Final thoughtsThe tile paint works well and produces great results. The kit makes everything easy and I recommend it.

4.5 stars
Interestingly enough, I've used several of these sets before. They work really well for certain tubs and sings, and chip off immediately for others. I apply at the exact same way, and for the extra slippery tubs I even brought out an orbital sander and went to work. I'm guessing it's maybe some kind of soap scum that has fused to the tub over the years because the texture of the tubs feels a little bit different. I cannot really figure it out but I've tried several different kids on the slippery tub and nothing has been able to stick. What I love about these kids is that they come with everything that you need inside which is really nice. I also appreciate that it smells so, so, so much better than the big box store kits. If you buy the big box door kids, I think that is the Mac Daddy of really tough tub refinishing but it's smells so bad that you cannot be in the house. I once wore a respirator and still got a headache for an entire day after applying. This is water-based and it has almost no scent at all and it's so much easier to work with. It does require a long drying time which was difficult to abide by. just keep that in mind before you start your project. If you shorten the drying time you will shorten the durability and the longevity of the finish.

Most pathetic product ever
I would not even give this product one star. What a load of crap and bunch of lies that this product offers. I measured my tub and shower combo to ensure this volume of product would cover thoroughly and due to the manufacturers recommendations it would. As you can see from the photos the first coat looked terrible and even after three coats you can see in the pictures the uneven finish. How embarrassing looks cheap tacky , like an imitation product from a country known for this type of quality.

I needed a solution for an odd shaped sink
The yellowed plastic sink in this RV needed an update but as you can see by the odd shape, to replace it would also entail getting an entirely new countertop because a new standard sink wouldn’t fit. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on it so I gave this product a try. I’m not 100% sure if it is the product, or my painting skills, but I was hoping it would have a smooth, shiny finish. It does not. It’s not horrible, but it does have a slight texture to it. The paint on the sink drain trim was my error: I forgot to tape it off.If this were a high end re-do, I’d probably invest in a new sink/counter. This product did solve the problem of the yellowed dirty sink without spending a lot of money. It does dry hard, and only time will tell if it’s durable.
