I think under normal darkness these are pretty good for the price, with a range of flash/steady effects and a small torch. I think under foggy conditions they would struggle being as bright as an average torch. You should also carry spare AAA batteries (these take 3, not supplied) and like other reviewers, I think the dependence on a screwdriver an odd choice (things get lost in the back of cars). A wallet to hold them might have worked better, or a battery case that is levered rather than screwed.

I had a rechargeable one,, saw these, they operate on batteries instead. Last about 6 hrs.Very reasonable price for a twin pack.Keep in your vehicle for emergencies

These emergency lights come in a dual pack with a little dual ended screwdriver, which is a little extravagant for me as I feel the could have just implemented some form of finger operated turnscrew to make them watertight and remove the need for a screwdriver.Leaving that aside, they do feel well made being a bright orange rubbery protective material and hard plastic construction. The LED bulbs are bright and any of the modes are certainly bright enough in the dark to gain attention.Undoing the back to put the batteries in can be a little bit fiddly but placing the 3 batteries required for each is easy enough.I have given one each to my daughter and her boyfriend who have both just passed their tests and as luck (or bad luck) would have it the boyfriend's car broke down and he had a chance to use it. His views were that it's very bright especially on unlit roads and that he is really please he had it on him.My only grumbles about the design are that I feel the inclusion of aa screwdriver, while nice, could have been designed out of the product and that I am not sure if I prefer aa battery or rechargeable option if given one.I am giving 4 stars for this based on the fact that on the occasion that you may need this as a driver then it is a very useful and well performing hazard light. However I was definitely thinking of dropping another star, just due to the inclusion of the screwdriver which could have lowered cost and the fact that there is no rechargeable option.

The media could not be loaded.  These are durable and versatile warning lights. You need 4 x AAA batteries not supplied for each light so expensive to use but you don’t need to charge them all the time.A good quality screwdriver is included which is a really helpful item. The screws are cross head but the screwdriver can be turned around for flat head too so it’s useful even after the lights.The lights feel rugged and durable. The back only goes back on one way and there’s a seal underneath to prevent water from getting in.Each light has several different red flashing light programmes or a white light one.There is also a hanging hook or a magnet but the magnet could be a lot stronger than it is.I hang mine from each side of my wheelchair for when I’m leaving football matches. It isn’t well lit and people trip over my wheelchair so now I can be seen at last.
