Is a smartphone, app, or WiFi connection required to use the M815?

No. The M815 is 100% standalone. Its 2200 ELO engine and 100,000-position book are built-in. Enjoy a screen-free, distraction-free experience without ever needing a phone or WiFi. Perfect for focused tactical improvement.

How does the "HighSensity" board feel compared to standard chess sets?

Our HighSensity technology mimics the tactile feel of tournament play. Moves register with a natural touch on the pressure-sensitive board. Includes weighted, chrome-finished magnetic pieces for a premium hand-feel and stable play.

Can I save my games and analyze my mistakes later?

Yes. Internal memory saves 12 games. Pause and resume exactly where you left off. Use the color display and Analysis Mode to review moves, identify blunders, and explore better lines with the built-in Trainer for deep study.

How does the 2200 ELO engine help a club player improve?

Sharpen your game with the 2200 ELO engine. Features human-like play, move hints, and blunder alerts. Solve "Checkmate in 2 to 10 moves" puzzles to improve 3D board visualization. No apps needed—pure tactile, screen-free mastery.

What is included in the box, and how is the unit powered?

Includes M815 board, 34 magnetic pieces (2 extra Queens), storage bag, and Quick Start Guide. Requires 4x AA batteries for travel or optional M811 AC Adapter for home (both sold separately). High-quality magnetic play for any environment.
