Very suprising package
I love the sizeIt can take 96 gigs of RAMIt has pci-express slotWorks great with pci-e riser ribbons. The WIFI chip is removeable after taking out two screws. The UEFI has password protection features at boot. The iGPU/APU is pretty impressive. The iGPU/APU dont use much wattage at all. Could run this off solar easily.Does NOT bottleneck the 7900XTX, and neither did my 3950X CPU, so gives you some idea about the potential of this chip.Negatives:Sound port / sound driver support in Win11. I know because i built one for a relative and their Win11 isnt supporting sound, but my Win10 setup is working perfectly. This needs a driver CD, because I cant seem to access their website from the USA.

Mostly good, but definitely not great.
While the concept of this embedded motherboard is great, the technical execution (and practices by the manufacturer) are somewhat questionable and leave something to be desired. The first issue one will likely run into is that the mounting holes for the fan on the heatsink are not well drilled and tapped. Two of the holes on my unit were not drilled to the correct depth, and the only way I could mount the fan was to file down the included fasteners so they would fit into the holes without bottoming out so much that the fan had a lot of wiggle room when mounted. After mounting the fan is sorted, you will likely find that the cooling of the unit is somewhat subpar, with temps readily hitting 90C under load even with a powerful fan (Phanteks T30) running at 100% speed. I hear that this issue is seen unit-by-unit however, and maybe mine just had a bad thermal interface material application.Lastly, and most egregiously, the last issue I have run into so far is that when using the device with the BIOS is shipped with, the PCIe X16 Gen 5 slot was locked to PCIe 1.1 speeds - this was the case no matter what I installed in the slot. The only way to correct this issue was to email support and have them provide me a new BIOS - a BIOS, I might add, that could only be installed from within Windows, so if you're running Linux like I was you'd better get ready to spin up a Windows install to update the BIOS.I really like the idea behind this motherboard, so I hope that future versions iron out some (or all) of these issues.

Great for a Shoe Box Computer
I bought this for my son to make a small shoebox computer to play video games. The motherboard worked great; the only issue was that the RAM needed was the same as a laptop RAM. It is not clearly stated in the description which RAM to buy.

Issues at launch were remedied with updates
Overall build quality is nice. The cooler came pre-installed and any 120mm fan will fit.Haven't had any issues with temps. Was actually the easiest build I had yet.. just praying Minisforum fixes the pcie issue.Updated to 4 stars - they fixed the pcie issues with bios updates :) Still working great!

Great Value - Flexible Mini ITX Board - First MoDT
This is a great way to build a mini-ITX with little effort. Very powerful and the first "Mobile on Desktop" board with 2 Gen5 M.2 slots that can be used. Never found such a unique and powerful option for use in any mini-ITX prior. Flexible usage, easy to install and so many options. Very stable, good cooling and perfect for any home (or business) usage. If building a mini-ITX, this is the way to go.
