Brass Bedding Rose - Fine Spray (High flow)

I thought that I had already reviewed this. On receipt the rose had two smallish dents in the perforated side. Ironic really as this was the reason I needed a new one, original had a largish dent in the perforated side! Packaging could be improved needs a bit of rigidity to protect rose surface

I had to buy a Haws watering can as the rose fitting is too small to fit any of my 3 watering cans. The product is of high quality. However, customer service is quite abrupt and verging on the impolite in the returns email. It cost me a further £5 postage to return the unwanted rose as the new watering can came with a rose. Hence, only 3 stars.

Excellent!I lost mine over a year ago and it was a real pain, not having a rose with a fine spray. I had my partner digging up the whole garden looking for it, then out came the metal detector, and unearthed nails, wire, bits of cast iron...no valuables sadly...... but all to no avail and the rose was no where to be found!So, it was decided to look for a new one. I had my doubts whether I would find one to fit, but lo and behold, there was one to fit my Haws can!Anyway, the new one arrived and I'm delighted with it!Weeks later my partner was laying a foundation for a shed and guess what the old rose was unearthed!!! Couldn't believe it, but it was in perfect condition and non the worse for its year underground. So now I have a spare which I'm very happy about!

A bit of a tight fit in my plastic green Haws watering can but I think it will become easier to attach in warmer weather. Spray not as fine as I hoped but a sweeping action is best.

Does a good job, better than plastic.

i own a red 5 litre red hawes plastic watering can i order a fine spray rose but it doses not fit the watering, can. it too big for the sprout cant used it

I have had my old Haws sturdy red plastic watering can for about 35 years and sadly seem to have recently lost the brass rose that it came with.I am now absolutely delighted to have been able able to buy this replacement. The picture made me suspect that the end would be too large but I was mistaken. It’s perfect and produces a wonderfully fine, even shower.I’m almost tempted to buy another, in case this goes missing too. But if it lasts another 35 years I will be in my late 90s and unlikely to need it!

Pretty good but I have yet to master the dribbling at commencement & finish
