short count and some were poorly threaded
The ten pack of Chicago screws I received contained eight screws. Of those three, the barrel pieces were not tapped all the way so that the screws would not go all the way in. I used an 8-32 tap to run the threads all the way and that solved the problem. I paid for ten and received 8 of which three had to be fixed to make them work. Other than that, they seem to be solid brass and once installed, do what Chicago screws are supposed to do. Better quality control is in order.

Not solid brass
These are NOT solid brass. I tried ageing them with vinegar and salt and the outer golden layer dissolved and they turned into plain steel-like posts and screws.
