Taste is OK, no issue here with the fruit/berry flavor (but it's not in the same taste realm as Juicy Fruit gum). The "gel" is more like a thick liquid, not like a toothpaste gel, and it will run off your toothbrush if you're not swift to get it in your mouth! Had to call Colgate to make sure the product I received was as the maker intended. Yup, it is. Only been using it for a few weeks so judgment on efficacy is withheld until the next DDS appt. I'm not using for tooth sensitivity, rather for extra fluoride on my crowned teeth. But since using this I have had no sensitivity issues at all.

My wife absolutely hates mint flavoring, and this is one of the few toothpastes she can use. She likes this one a lot.
