Exactly What I needed for hats and scarves! Less Expensive Version of ORE 6 foot Coat Rack.
I bought this item after looking at the ORE 6 foot coat rack and realized they were the same product but this one was less expensive. I really like the extra hooks for scarves on the middle and upper middle section of the rack. It looks identical to the ORE International Cherry finish. The rack works well for hats and scarves. I don't know how it will hold up for coats, but the base is sturdy so I think it will work well. The directions were a bit tough to follow since it didn't come with directions, just a diagram with alphabetized parts labeled on a picture of what it should look like when set up. This made it an interesting puzzle when figuring out how the upper pieces needed to be arranged. Once I understood the puzzle, it came together very quickly. I'm not mechanically inclined so it did take me about an hour from opening the box to setting it up in my office. I didn't use the glue that came with it in case I needed to take it apart and move it somewhere else. It looks beautiful with my sunday summer hats and scarves covering it. Nice product! Would recommend this less expensive version of ORE's product.

Sturdy and handsome needs written instructions
We use a coat rack instead of a closet. Our coat rack kept tipping over. I took a chance on this one because reviewers said it's sturdy. It is! See attached photos; we have four winter coats, two sweatshirts, a scarf, and a Cosmic Wimpout ball cap on the coat rack. More stuff could fit.The bottom of the rack is weighted, that's the key to its success. Unfortunately, the rack comes with one sheet of paper that lists all parts (they were all there) and a pictogram of which parts go together, then a drawing of the rack with the word "Ok" underneath implying that if it looks like that once you're done, you put it together correctly. I had a good laugh at those instructions but was not laughing a half hour later when I had to take some of it apart, the glued part, because I had not put the hangers through the holes before gluing and screwing the pegs. I then redid it only to have to do it again because I forgot to study the drawing to see it was crucial to push the hangers through both the wooden piece with holes, not just the obvious part with holes. So, study the picture before you begin. Make sure you push the 8 long metal hangers through both wooden pieces that have the appropriate holes. The upper ring above the pegs in my photo is the one to remember, it isn't obvious. Here's a tip about gluing the pegs: the kit comes with a small tube of glue; Insert the screws halfway up the crew into the tube then screw the peg in. You will not have any glue mess. My husband thinks the glue can be skipped altogether but I figured they wouldn't have included it if it wasn't necessary. The pegs are the only area that gets glue, according to the pictogram.Had I paid better attention to the drawing or had there been even minimal instructions, assembly would have taken a half hour. For anyone under 6 feet I recommend standing on a short stool to get the leverage needed to push in the hangers and the balls. You'll see what I mean when you get to that part!I recommend this coat rack.

Great Coat Rack!
Lots of pieces with this one and no real directions... just pictures. Had to figure it out, but it went together nicely. Not hard to figure out. The base is very heavy, so the whole thing is very stable and well-balanced. And I love all the extra hooks... grate for hats and scarves. I LOVE this coat rack and it looks even better than expected.

Excellent product - pleasantly surprised
This arrived exactly as described. I first went over the inventory. It was all there. Putting it together was easier than the reviews say. Easy 20 minutes.I put together the center column first. The tricky part is inserting the metal sleeves just right for the fastener screws. If not aligned then you risk chipping the cherry veneer finish. So I messed one up. Also remember to insert the round piece at the top where all the metal sleeves go through. I realized that after putting in three? No sweat. Very solid and steady with a full rack of jackets. It's not solid wood but looks just fine and the price from this vendor is incredible. Looks good too.

Arrived with defective part
Assembly was not easy due to defective part.I would have given this 5 stars, as it appears to be sturdy and attractive , but one of the packaged parts- Part F - the four 3 3/4 inch metal tubes that form the lower bag holders- arrived defective - 3 out of 4 were partially flattened. Nothing else in the box was damaged, and the bag that enclosed them was not damaged, so these were obviously packaged and shipped that way. For shame,. It would have been a hassle to pack it all up and return and then wait- so my husband tried to straighten them out best he could and force them into place. The coats will cover them but I was not happy considering the price.

Very nice for the money.
The coat rack arrived earlier than anticipated, but we are happy about that. It is easily assembled if you follow the diagram. Good quality and works very well for our needs. Thank you to the seller for being prompt.
