Pucking Ever After, Book 2: Jacksonville Rays Hockey Series HEA Novella

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ To be honest, I can’t remember much of anything before the dentist 😂 that portion was just so profound and eye-opening to me (someone who’s never read a BL book before). I also remember we’re still waiting for No Name #3 to pop out so I’m feeling robbed right now, I really thought that was happening in the second volume. Nevertheless, it was sweet with a touch of angst and daily struggles, and if any book makes me cry, that’s an automatic five stars. I loved this so much and thank you for showing me BL for the first time. I’m so amazed, I never knew how explosive Mars x Caleb could be but the Price family is hotter and stronger than ever!

"Pucking Ever After: Volume 2" by Emily Rath is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions! The combination of laughter, tears, and a perpetual smile on my face made this read truly awesome. The Prices and Langleys, not to mention the entire Jacksonville Rays team, have become irresistible. I love how the story delves into their lives beyond the hockey rink, adding depth to the characters. And Mars? Well, let's just say, he managed to win even more of my heart. I'm eagerly anticipating the next volumes – puck yea!

I had these books in my TBR forever and decided to give it a read!!!! I would have along time ago if I knew it was truly about Jacksonville as that is where I am from!!!! I love love love all the characters and cannot wait until the whole series is done… amazing job with good plots for all the characters

I didn’t say enough in my review of Pucking Around and Pucking Ever after volume I. The author? I can barely put into words how wonderfully written these stories were! The way she allows each characters humanity to shine. She protects the integrity of each MC and allows the reader to feel how deep their lives runs! I enjoyed this and the other books so much! I’ve never read a book written with as much love compassion and …..I’m speechless!

I tortured myself waiting until I finished a series to get to read this, and I'm so happy I waited and started off 2024 with all my favorites.This novella is perfect. I loved PEA vol. #1 and this one is just as perfect.I laughed, I sobbed, and I giggled with excitement. I love how we finally got to see the aftermath of the karaoke night. Tess and Ryan's stories were beautiful and heartbreaking. Jake and no exit might be one of my favorite Jake and Mars moments ever, and finally, the dentist, that's all I'm saying.This series was one of my favorites in 2023. It helped heal things inside of me that I didn't know needed healing. The characters truly are some of my favorites, and I can't wait to see where this universe goes♥️

Had to break this down because that is the best way for me to process. Here we go! This is the condensed version because I am not allowed to lay out all of my feelings her for space reasons. Ugh. Whatever.Dark Devil: Overall, it was cute and loving and wonderfully dirty. Truth, I didn’t meed it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It is still extremely hard to read about, hear of, or see a parent belittle or intimidate their child, anyone really, into thinking their wants are sinful or acts of the devil. Having Caleb’s parents make him feel less that the amazeballs person he is because their church doesn’t agree with his wants and needs as a person is utter crap!Turks & Caicos: Shark bait hoo ha ha! 🤣🤣 Listen, why aren’t you reapplying sunscreen constantly? Really? Base tan or not, you are on a boat for hours, you need sunscreen. You live in Florida. You know what happens when skin and sun get together. Ask you ginger wife.As soon as Tess said she was tired, being preggers was the first thing to run though my mind. That wasn’t even a questions or a surprise. Then she “got sick” off food that no one was sick from. Dude. Follow the signs. Yay baby Rays!!!Their vows in the rain. Oh my heart. 🥹😍Waiting: As someone who loves any excuse to go to St. Auggy, it irked me that Cassie pretended to use a fun filled day of craft fairs and food (The Floridian 🤤) to have an extreamly pregnant Tess be her personal valet. Lazy mooch! Then she says to the woman about to deliver her niece to catch an Uber while she takes Tess’ car? Dude. Hold my earrings. 🤬This is the story that I needed of Tess and Ryan. Their love, connection, their journey. This felt like everything that was needed in “Pucking Wild” and I almost hate that we got it here in their story to be patents. In this scene with everything laid out, no holds bar, I was a sobbing mess. It took hours to read these chapters because I couldn’t see through my tear filled eyes. There was so much truth and vulnerability in these chapters.No Exit: These Price men and their adoration for Rachel is stupidly cute. I am on her side, though. She is about to push a baby out of her cooter. Give the woman space and stop acting like she is about to break because you are the ones who put that baby in her. If she screams, cries, or is uncomfortable, you should have thought about that before naked time. Actions have consequences boys.First we get the story of Caleb’s awful parents. Now are given Jake’s narrow minded parents. How the Compton’s spoke to Jake about his relationship while also insulting his spouses in a backhanded “bless your heart” kind of way had me seeing red. Thank god Jake has sense and Mars came out. Showing a united front in kicking the Compton’s out was needed. STAT! Then Mars calming Jake down. Ugh. My heart. 💖The Dentist: In “Pucking Wild,” Jake keeps calling Mars his metaphor and Caleb has to correct him over speaker phone. Again saying Mars is his and Jakes metamour. Two m’s, no ph. Here, Caleb and Mars use the word metaphor over and over, never using metamour. Am I wrong in this? Did I miss something?Higher than a kite Caleb is hysterical. Talking about how Mars is “sho shexy” and wanting to live in his skin. Dying. 🤣🤣🤣☠️☠️☠️ It was kinda heartbreaking to have Mars hear all that Caleb said and not know if he was truthful in his proclamations or not. That made my heart hurt for Mars.Then that hallway scene. My heart was about to beat right out of my chest. The tension was insane. Just wow. Then Mars tells Caleb his door will never be closed to him again and it was everything in me to not scream in excitement over that possessiveness. Yassss!!!!“My experience begins and ends with you.”-MarsSeriously? This was everything. 💖💖💖

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶Review: The very last chapter of this book was the ultimate best chapter! Mars + Cays relationship is definitely one of a kind. This novella was perfect in the sense that you aren't ready to say goodbye to the Rays but aren't quite ready for another big book.I always love how with the Rays when you're with one of them you're family and you have every single one of them looking out for you. 🥹

I cried (a lot and in the middle of my lunch at work lol) and laughed so much with this one. This is definitely one of my favorite series.

Ugh my love for these characters is just so immeasurable. Every progression, every snippet of further information, every character we see more of and understand better… I just can’t get enough. Watching them grow into their happily ever afters and in domestic bliss and going through the trials and tribulations of life after their HEAs just makes my heart absolutely swell with pride and joy. It is so sweet and lovely.Emily’s writing is so immersive and wonderful. The words are poet and beautiful and she sums up feelings and emotions and sensations fantastically. I am already pining for the next one after dragging this one out for so long and putting it off because I knew I would have to completely devour it once I started it.I love the complexity in the characters and even the timeline twists and I will undoubtedly be reading all of the books in this universe until the day I no longer inhabit this earth. I hope they never end because I’m really not ready to leave the Rays family behind and can’t ever imagine myself being able to. Of course I have also ventured into physical copies and audiobooks so we will see how that goes too! I can’t get enough!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around

Go for it you won't be disappointed, it's a great book well written.Check the TW before some topics talked about can be triggering.

Emily Rath can do no wrong. I will forever be grateful for her novella's in this series. No matter how much they make me cry, swoon or laugh out loud. But seriously mostly cry.

Not to spoil it both when THOSE two people were together gasp* holy hell that was some magic. Definitely recommend
