Ostrat 2023 Upgrade TV Antenna Indoor Outdoor, 850+ Miles Range Amplified Digital HD Antenna for Smart TV and All Older TV - 36ft HD Cable - Support 4K 8K 1080p and Other Resolutions

When I got the package, I thought it was another scam product. It was, to me, too small, (22"), and too light.I wanted to get local channels and decided to try it. It is very easy to install, my smart tv scanned for channels and, wow!, it picked up two major local network channels, as well as a few others. I later moved it to inside a window and got a third one in. The CBS affiliate is the only one I haven't been able to bring in. From the attached picture, facing the tv, you should be able to see it's on the table just behind and under the right corner. Other than that reflection of a background light, the picture is excellent. The unit is very, very light so, if you need it sitting upright, you'll have to brace it with something. I'm in an apt and don't want to stick it on the wall or woodwork or use nails or screws. I'm still thinking, though, of a way to get it higher to, maybe, bring in CBS. Any ideas would be welcome. I am really impressed!

I tried two of these units, one did not work at all and the second replacement worked but received 1/2 the channels it should and even some that it received were terribly pixilated.I tried all of the house and no where did it work, we are 30 miles or less from the TV towers.I installed another brand and it received full channels, full picture so I am confident that this is not what it is advertised. I am sure that if you were real close to the tower it would be fine but surely not the distance it claims.

We are in rural area and lots of trees(thank goodness) but to get local channels with an antenna is hard to do. This antenna gets really clear channels for one's we can get. We only use when networks take local channels away like nbc has.

I canceled my cable because it was too expensive. I decided to get an antenna so I can get the basic channels to watch the news and some of my basic shows. I chose this antenna because of the reviews and I have to say it has exceeded my expectations. This antenna is perfect, lightweight, compact, with a long cord so I can put it wherever I want. I haven't had any trouble with getting local channels. It was very easy to setup and I was surprised that I now get 40+ local channels. The signal is great and the live local channels are very sharp. I would definitely recommend this because I am very happy with the quality. If you are looking to ditch your cable and get a good antenna, this is it.

Bought the unit as we recently had our local TV channel discontinued by our current system provider. This unit served the purpose of getting ota local channels easily. My main critique is that the box and all packaging was noticeably not new and open when we received it. For our purpose and for ease of setup I must admit that is the only real complaint I have and in light of the fact we will likely regain access to our local channel in the future, the unit will likely not be needed long term. Not sure about the "850 miles range" :-). Maybe if you are on a mountain or the 100th floor, in our case we get channels of around 30 miles. There are other cities with other affiliates within 50 miles and none of those show. Admittedly, I didnt spend time positioning outside or at different points in the house so maybe I could improve range by doing so. Just wanted to indicate that nothing special re: range showed up for me.

I don't know about this antenna yet. I still can't get my local channels and I have stretched out the cable and move the antenna all around the room!!

Antenna worked for two days, now it’s not picking up any signal. I moved the antenna and a glitch showed up on the screen for a brief second. I didn’t think I would have to move the antenna around my living room every few days. This thing is trash, I would return it but I tossed the box.

I was missing out on several NFL games so decided to try this to get free channels. This works perfectly. Users of this product need to be aware of locations of their local broadcast stations due to the nature of Line of Sight radio frequencies. I get perfect picture from all but one broadcast station which os on the other side of a mountain side unfortunately.
