Sizzling hot!
Who knew foreplay could be so damn hot. The chemistry between Nathan and Vicky is off the charts. Love the story. Vicky recovering from a horrific and traumatizing thing happening to her and Nathan changing and risking everything for love. Hooked all the way through.

Similar issues as the first book.
I thought this one was just okay. A lot irked me about it. I still dislike how women are seen as demure, inferior, and in need of saving. While Vicky wasn't like this, the other female hunters were. And most of the men saw nothing wrong with that. Even Nathan thought they were "progressing enough" even though it was gross. Moving past that, the love was really insta in this one. I know they're mates, but love isn't the same. That should be earned and it isn't in this book. Also, I mostly listened to this one, and it's incredibly hard to know which POV you're in since they change so quickly and seemingly mid-paragraph Having only a woman narrating means it all sounds kinda that same. That might be less of a problem with the ebook. Overall I wouldn't really recommend this one, but I already own the next book on audible so will likely finish it off. Hopefully the Joseph plot point will be resolved, since he's been getting away and outsmarting them for two books now. There has been no pay-off for the main story, just a lot of ways showing them how they're not all that smart or cunning. The romance is resolved though, which makes this book much more bearable.

AAAHGHH!!! Spoiler Alert!!! Major Spoiler Alert!
Okay so out of all the books between The Vampire Awakenings and The Alliance series this one is my absolute favorite. Brian and Abby’s story was my fave so I should have known her twins story would become my new favorite.First off the chemistry between Nathan And Vicky is so enthralling. Before the book I hadn’t thought about all the complications that would come from their relationship but in reading it o kept wondering how everything would work out. I just knew Vicky was going to lose her mind and Nathan wasn’t going to be able to be with her. I thought maybe this would be the first time where the bond wouldn’t become completed because of the stipulations surrounding their relationship. And then discover my that not only is Joseph turning the people who lived in the pipes but was also turning hunters. That scene from the book brought chills. I was so immersed freaking about the stronghold in India. And then the one in New Hampshire. And then Killeen and Simone. We get a story from a savages point right?!?! I mean I’m just freaking buzzing and cannot wait till their story is released. I am so ready for this.Thank you Brenda K. Davies for this amazing book and wonderful set of series. This has completely rocked my work haha. And I certainly hope one day this can be a series on HBO or Starz or something. I would love to this play out on the screen.

Love this series
I liked this book way more than I thought I would. Based on the character choices, I wasn't as excited to read it as I was for Ronan/Kadence, however, I'm glad I did. Nathan I liked from book 1 but I'm glad we got to learn so much more about him and I love him now. Vicky, has never been one of my favorites, even from the Awakened series I couldn't stand her much... however, I did really like how this book put her in a different light, you find out why she always acted the way she did and you see her really vulnerable and her growth in overcoming some of her past struggles. She still isn't one of my favorite characters but I like her a lot more after this book. This book was also very action packed as I'm assuming many in this series will be as they are fighting larger battles rather than just small things within single books, then ending of this one was a page turner for sure. Still holding out hope that one of these future books will be about Declan finding his mate!!!

Byrne family continues
So from the first book in the original series, Awakened, the following books are the offspring of Liam & Sera. This second Alliance book stars Vicky one of the twin Byrne girls and her craving drive for vengeance against ex-boyfriend Duke who sold her to be a vampire happy meal. Trauma tragedy and emotional scars greet Vicky on her quest. She just didn't expect help from Hunter of all Hunters leader, Nathan Holter. Nathan is on his own mission to take out the Savage vampire, Joseph who killed his father. Roller coaster ride of events push these two apart and together. However we are segue into the next story of Ronan's best friend, Killean. We got a glimpse of Killean and Nathan's former fiancee Simone. Killean informing us they are mates. The intrigue of what Killean plans and the cliffhanger left at story end by the King of the Vampires, Ronan will make the next book intense.

NATHAN AND VICKIE'S STORY
I have thoroughly enjoyed the preceding series and this one illustrating the tumultuous changes ahead of the Alliance as the vampires and hunters band together to fight for survival and revenge against the savages. You want nothing more than to see Joseph and Drake to get their asses handed to them. While reading I couldn’t figure out what could possibly be the horrible thing coming at them. Well in this volume it was worse than I suspected and leads to some drastic changes for all involved. For their survival the threat leaves only one logical solution!! Will they come to the same conclusion that I have or perish due to old prejudice and fear? Will the Alliance hold and make them stronger together than they ever were apart? In the end will Nathan be able to hold his people together to fight the coming battles??Well keep reading and you will see!!!!!!Looking forward to the third book to find out if Killiean can be saved?? Is he truly gone savage?? My bet is no!!

This book has the wow factor in abundance
I have read and loved every book in the Vampire Awakenings series and the first book in the Alliance series and I absolutely loved each one so what I am about to say is high praise indeed! This is my favourite yet.Every book that I have mentioned above has had passion, adventure, excitement and I couldn't get enough of them, this book has that all in abundance but it has managed to ratchet up the already high intensity and action and the passion. I was on tenterhooks so often that I lost count. I am absolutely loving this series. This book was incredible!

BOUND BY VENGANCE
I chose this series because Brenda K Davies is one of those writers that gets to the nitty-gritty but also has a damn good story line too, it's not slow or boring it's fast and interesting you have to keep reading because you need to know what's going to happen

Fantastic
This is another fantastic novel by Brenda K Davies I absolutely loved it!!! It’s a fast paced thrilling tale that follows on so well from book one. This series is super hot with wonderfully written characters and I love the plot that’s developing with the Vampires, Hunters and Savages...it’s very good!!! Vicky and Nathan are great lead characters and I love the dual POV.There is also a small glimpse as to book 3 and I cannot wait for that!!!! Five stars 😁

Another hit.
I love this series. The Alliance between the hunters and the vampires is on shaky ground but Nathan will not allow it to fall apart and with the help of his new mate Vicky, bringing down the Savages has become their priority along with their love for one another.
