cost effective
I bought a similar item off Amazon about 8 months ago when refilling a v10 engine with more pipe work than say a BL mini 850, a time when filling just meant squeezing the top rad hose to move the air along. It worked to the same venturi principle as this from Sealey, similar component parts. However, the tank adaptor was just a push fit, the changeover valves were cheap, the plasticoat handles shed their covering as soon as you touched them, the pressure gauge needle started somewhere up the scale and the system refused to pull down to the prescribed point to create the necessary vacuum etc so I returned it and had the system done for me.Recently I removed the V10 from the car and all cooling and conditioning items were up to air. I purchased this item and soon had the pipes in the car in a flattened state and when I switched over the valve to draw in the 15 lites or so of coolant, the large bucket was emptied in minutes. The most easy process imaginable. Topping up with 1/2 liter of coolant when the engine was restarted meant it was practically 100% filled with this system.Much better quality parts, gauge good, a selection of rubber adaptors provided for the expanding rubber doughnut for the header tank connection. So you do get what you pay for. Recommended

Well made, simple to use.
I wish I'd bought one years ago! So simple to use, and the only sure way to avoid air pockets and possible overheating issues. Avoid the cheap ones online, the Sealey kit is really well made and will last.

Beware Connection Issues
Well made piece of kit but could not use it and had to return because the connection to the hose (silver nozzle on T piece shown in pictures) is not the same as my Black and Decker compressor. The Compressor has a 1/4 inch 'Hi-Flow' nozzle which is short with a wider bore. The Sealey item has a long (American) nozzle. If you want to buy this kit check shape of fittings first. You can buy an adaptor Sealey Part AC34 if you want to be sure. This screws into the brass block of the T piece.

Great bit of kit.
Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Used it on my BMW K1200 s with success. No air locks.

Handy tool
It works ok, you struggle to get a seal on expansion tanks with screw threads, but that’s not really what it’s designed for, but I have got this to work to varying levels of success by taping it to the tank.

Invaluable maintenance tool
When I discovered that I needed to drain my motorcycle cooling system to replace the spark plugs, I was advised to refill the system using a vacuum refill tool. This Sealey kit does the job easily and efficiently. Recommended.
