Works like a charm to crush garlic,ginger root etc.!Seems very well made.

I had to process a full head of garlic for a doubled recipe, and this little gadget crushed the 12 cloves up easily. It was not easy to get the crushed garlic out, though. I was making a sauce, so I swished the utensil halves in the sauce to get the garlic out. The little scraper would have left a good bit behind. Rinsed the remains down the garbage disposal and sent it through the dishwasher, so actual cleanup was easy. I found the garlic peeler sleeve to be useless for me, and I'm sure the little scraper and brush will quickly get lost. But I liked the mincer itself. Now we can use fresh garlic more often!

Appears to be a good quality product. Nice finish, good packaging. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet…

Does exactly as described I use it frequently

This does do well for garlic mincing. But i got this more for the ginger chopping. On that I mostly just got a ginger juicer, which my old garlic mincer did just fine on, and it loses a lot of the juice. I couldn't really twist it fully with the ginger, it kept getting stuck. in the process of trying to twist it, it kept spilling ginger juice all over the place. I gave up on the ginger and used it for my garlic. On that it did well but even with the little scoop it was hard to get it all out. I find i like a presser more.The garlic peeler add-on i couldn't really get to work for me though I tried a few different ways. Overall this was disappointing and I'm unlikely to keep using it.

The KITBECOOK - Garlic Twist Mincer Set comes with the mincer, garlic cleaner sleeve, a scoop and a cleaning brush. Instructions are easy to follow and understand. This is a pretty small device so it will be easy to stash it away in a drawer. I did find this a little difficult to use because of the arthritis in my hands. But the results were good so I may continue to try and use it. It was easy to clean with the included brush.

This garlic twist mincer set comes with a plastic mincer, a spoon, a cleaning brush, and a peeler. I didn't use the peeler because the garlic clove I had was already peeled. I just sliced the clove in half and put the 2 halves in on either side, twist closed the mincer and the garlic was minced without all the mess and smell. However, the finished product was not as neat as the picture but it was minced. Then you use the spoon to get all the garlic out of the mincer. It comes with a brush to clean the mincer and that worked well. You do have to press and twist with a lot of pressure and I think that someone who has arthritis might not be able to use it easily. I have a little arthritis in my hands and it did take me some time and pressure to mince the garlic. All in all, it does what it says and keeps my hands from smelling like garlic!

While this may be handy for some and appears to be well-made & sturdy, we didn’t care for it.It was easier to crush and chop using a knife, scoop and put into the frying pan.Lining up top and bottom, twisting, then getting all the garlic out, and then washing it - seems easy, but more steps, water and time than it’s worth.We returned it after 1 use.
