Hardcover edition includes a gorgeously illustrated case cover This graphic novel of the Prophecies Begin arc covers novels 1 and 2 ( Into the Wild and Fire and Ice) More than 80 million copies of Warriors books have been sold worldwide Review: A great revival manga for the Warrior Series - I got into reading Warrior Cats in 6th grade in 2010 when I found the Graystripe manga. Never reading a book prior or knowing anything about this series. The art, characters, and story pulled me in. That book and Graystripe have been my favorite since, I read every Warrior’s manga and book after that. To this day I’m beginning to slowly grow my Warrior Cat’s collection to show my support and love for this series. I won’t lie, I wasn’t sure about this revival and new art style. Even going back to the first book/series. Will they cut out important parts? Will they change the characters I know and love? What if it isn’t like the first time baby Brooke found a cool looking cat manga in a middle school library. Reading it and being pulled into the world, becoming a warrior herself with how much she was pulled in. Fighting, healing, leading, and grieving each of them. Well…. It pulled me back to that time and it was all new to me again. Erin Hunter chose the right people to revive the series with this adaptation. The more I read the more I slowed down because it was getting close to the end. I wanted more. More of this art and story, curious what was going to happen next. When I already know what to expect. There was a longing of wanting more and a dread for the end of this manga. I loved every second, minute, and hour this graphic novel has given me. I’m definitely pre-ordering the Yellowfang one next, Hardcover again as well. Because the art and details is amazing! I can’t describe the beauty in words just sitting here gushing at it. Also, I took a picture of a bonus page to show how much thought and love they put into this. There’s a bit more bonus pages but I’m not spoiling that. Buy this book and make it a hardcover, you’ll be reading this book over and over again. You’re gonna want a strong book to make it last longer 😅 I hope the artists do a signing soon cause I want them to sign this. They’re in Texas as well, so they won’t be too far for that. ❤️☺️ Be it a long time reader or new, this is a great book for Warrior fans. Join the world and enjoy this amazing art-thrilling adventure. Review: Good - The artwork is beautiful and brings the story to life in a very engaging way. It’s easy to follow and perfect for both new readers and fans of the series. The characters are interesting, and the story keeps you hooked from the beginning. It’s a great graphic novel—fun, exciting, and a pleasure to read. Highly recommend!

Art Caught Your Attention? The Story Will Too!
The artwork is what definitely caught my attention and the story didn't dissappoint—with more twists than I initially thought! With minimal spoilers, It was interesting to see the different cat clans, and the tension between them with Firepaw (main character cat). A lot of characters in this series are lovely and I can't wait to start reading the second buke! Kudos to all who worked on book! It's a fresh change of air and I hope this series & artstyle get an animated version in the future. ^_^

A huge hit with my child—couldn’t put it down!
I bought Warriors Graphic Novel: The Prophecies Begin for my child, and it has been an absolute favorite. From the very first pages, they were completely enamored by the story and the characters. The illustrations bring the world of the clans to life in such an engaging way, and the storytelling is exciting without being overwhelming. What I love most as a parent is how invested my child became in reading. They eagerly talk about the characters, the prophecies, and what they think will happen next. It’s sparked imagination, curiosity, and a genuine love for reading that’s so rewarding to see. This graphic novel is a wonderful introduction to the Warriors series and perfect for kids who enjoy adventure, animals, and rich storytelling. If you have a young reader who loves getting lost in a good story, this book is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend

Cute
I really enjoyed this graphic novel. It provided a clearer understanding of the events and settings, and I especially appreciated seeing the ThunderClan camp. The description of the camp often changes, so having a visual representation was really helpful. Another positive is that this graphic novel combines two books into one, which is great for quickly progressing through the first series. I'm particularly excited to see the next two series adapted into graphic novel form, although I doubt Long Shadows and Sunrise will be released anytime soon! That said, I really liked this graphic novel and am eagerly looking forward to the next one in April, featuring Yellowfang on the cover. However, there are a few drawbacks to mention. One issue I had was with the artwork. Firestar looks more like a pampered house cat than the strong, noble leader I envision. In other graphic novels, like A Thief in ThunderClan or Graystripe's Adventure, Firestar’s portrayal is more regal and fitting for a leader. But in this book, he just doesn’t even look like a warrior. It's not just him, though, it's all of the drawings. For example, the Yellowfang and Silverstream artwork highly dssappointed me. Yellowfang looks completely different, and I thought Silverstram would look a lot more... elegant. That said, I recognize that a lot of effort went into the illustrations, and while I miss the older art style, the new drawings do have their own charm and cuteness. I think the pros outnumber the cons in this book.

Our favorite series
My kids loved this book. It was one of the things that really helped kick off their love of reading, and now they have moved on to the full chapter books. They got totally wrapped up in the different clans and all the lore, and it really captured their imagination. I am pretty strict about what my kids read, and I did not find anything concerning here besides the normal Warriors-style violence and the cats eating mice, which is just part of the whole cat thing. Other than that, I felt totally fine with it. This was a really fun read and a great introduction to the Warriors world.

Fun
The sort of does require you to have read the original novels, because it leaves out some important details and glances over some others. But it is overall a fun read.

Loved it!
I have a lot of nostalgia for the original The Prophecies Begin series, and this didn’t disappoint. A fresh take on the original story with wonderful, life-filled artwork, with streamlined action and delightful character interpretations. The only criticism I have is *spoiler* the speeding through of Fire and Ice, I felt that wasn’t covered quite as much as I would have liked, with Whiteclaw’s death being entirely cut, which is a choice I don’t fully understand. Hopefully this pattern won’t continue, as the next graphic novel will cover the third and fourth books, with Rising Storm being a particular favourite of mine.
