Well thought out design, but front wheel is NOT 360° spinner...
2024-01-04. EZ-Roll 3-wheel golf push cart by IZZO.I've had two previous 3-wheeled push carts, and with each one of them I found things I did not like about them. The straps to secure the bag to the cart are poorly designed, the balance is off and prone to tipping over, the wheels do lock, weak plastic joints and components, doesn't stand up on its own when collapsed, large footprint, and the list goes on. When I combed over the specs of this bag by IZZO, it seemed to clear much of my disappointment revealed with my prior push carts. This push cart by IZZO has quite a few features and appears to be well thought out. The unit does require some initial setup out of the box, but all necessary tools are provided and takes just a few minutes. Once the wheels and accessories (cupholder and umbrella holder) are installed, no further installation is required and the unit can be stored as is.The good.Balance. Whether the unit is empty or carrying a load, it stands well on its own and is not prone to tipped over on the handle. The bag angle is a little more upright than most, but I believe this is what improves its balance.Straps. This cart uses bungee straps to secure your bag to the cart. The elasticity keeps the straps short so they don't drag on the ground, yet versatile enough to accommodate bags of different girths.Rear wheels. The rear wheels are nice and large and smooth, and can easily be removed and installed without any tools (spring lock).Free standing. When folded down, the push cart is able to stand upright on its own, even when upside-down! (see pics)Locking wheel brake.Stowable umbrella holder. When not needed, the umbrella holder can be stored on the bottom frame, out of the way.The bad.Plastic joints. Despite the frame being mainly aluminum, there are still some plastic joints with metal fasteners. Many joints are high stress areas and reinforced joints would have made the cart a lot stronger.Wheel brake. Only the rear right wheel has a brake. Locking both wheels will provide better stability on uneven terrain. It will also provide convenience for left-footed people. A center brake foot-lever that locks both wheels would have been ideal. The ugly. The front wheel is not 360° spinning wheel. This means that the push cart can only move in a straight line forwards or backwards. to turn, you will need to lift the front wheel, turn, and set it back down. This is a huge inconvenience.Overall, this push cart by IZZO is still way better than my previous two, but it's still not perfect. It's also pricier than my previous models, but it appears you get what you pay for. It's a very functional push cart and I like the design and features for the most part. But I do have to dock them one star for NOT having a front wheel that rotates 360° for maneuverability.

Folds Very Compact
This is the second three-wheel trolley I've gotten (one for me and one for my adult son) recently. Of the two, I much prefer this over the other, which is about $30 less, but given the additional features of the IZZO, I believe that this is the better value, even with the higher price point.First, assembly. This only required clipping the wheels on and it's ready to go. While the other only required removal of two screws which are then used to affix a bracket, as well as installing the wheels, it was a convenient surprise. The IZZO includes the complete umbrella holder (the other includes the base already installed on the handle, the actual umbrella holder that screws into the base requires additional purchase), as well as a "cage" style cup holder (cage, similar to bicycle bottle holders).Speaking of bicycles, the frame of this is hearty, much like a high end mountain bike frame in size and shape. That said, this trolley has two major features. First, this folds into an extremely efficient footprint, allowing it to fit nicely into a trunk, backseat, or other fairly restrictive area. It folds into an almost rectangular cube shape, which is nice as there are no arms or attachments protruding to make getting in and out of storage areas easy. Second, the solo front wheel collapses along with the other wheels and frame when collapsed. The other cart I have requires operation of a pin to release/lock the front wheel, and even when it's collapsed, it doesn't fold into nearly as nice a footprint as the IZZO. And on the topic of front wheel, another difference is that the IZZO has a full size front guide wheel which makes it easier to traverse rougher terrain. The trolley rolls straight and true. It required no alignment which the instructions detail how to complete if needed. The instructions came packed in the storage compartment. The frame is a nice grey finish and is well coated with no thin areas or runs. I would have preferred dark grey or black wheels instead of the white. I may plasti-dip them to mute them a bit from the stark white contrast. The handle is padded rubber and will be comfortable in hot or cold weather as well as resilient to being handled in and out of vehicles, etc. It is also adjustable to a range of angle/heights to accommodate personal height and preference. The previously mentioned umbrella and cup holder compliment the storage compartment to keep in-round used items close at hand. The bungee/latch system is convenient and easy to secure bag to the top and bottom saddles. The construction of this is solid duty. Large tubular aluminum frame, sturdy plastic fittings and well engineered functionality makes this a really nice cart at an affordable price.

Nice!
The first point I have to make about this golf cart is how easy it was to put together. The instructions were simple to follow, and it only took a few minutes before the cart was in working order. The first trip to the course I was impressed. New to walking while golfing, I was worried that it would be difficult, and it immediately made me want to go back to riding and give up on trying to push my clubs. This was not the case. The cart was easy to navigate and pushed well through all heights of grass throughout the entire course. The only thing that would potentially make navigating the cart easier would be if the front wheel had a 360-degree design, but it definitely is not a deal breaker. The cart is pretty compact giving enough room for a full size set up golf clubs and the cart to fit nicely in a trunk of a car. With room to spare even!Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and will continue to use it versus riding.
