5 Clothes Moth Traps 5 Catcher Refill Pads AF Demi Diamond

This comes as a set of five with 'flatpack' hanging units and 5 moth strips. The hanging units are easy to put together and form a triangle into which you place a moth strip. Easy and there is no smell involved. The 3D effect though can make it difficult to put into a full wardrobe, hanging next to packed shirts, etc and on one occasion I inadvertently stuck my finger into on while shifting clothes and it stuck to the moth strip and took a few seconds to extract. I've had no problem with moths since (4 weeks). The cost is a bit high but we looked and it had good reviews on moth prevention and so we invested.

I was expecting to get the dot stickers that turn red gradually, showing the expiry dates of the pheromone sheets but they were not there. It's not a crisis because I can write the dates on stickers and put these on the cases, but less convenient.

The plastic can come apart in the wardrobe but when you see it just readjust it or use the sticky sheets on there own just make sure they don’t get onto your clothes

For a couple of years early versions of this product proved successful in trapping moths. But I've now had one up in every room in the house for three weeks or so and, to date, have trapped only two. However, I've caught four by hand as I watch them fly past the traps, sneering as they go, all this despite my talking kindly to them. I've no idea why the change in behaviour. I am not happy with their collective attitude and wonder what they know about the traps that I don't. Or is it a change in the chemicals. Please don't buy.

Theres always one of these hanging somewhere in my house with little flies stuck on it. Im not sure why the flies like this but they do and it works. Very useful for them summer days when all doors and windows are open.

Update 6 months on--------------------------OK so originally it didnt seem to work but 6 months on all of the collectors are full of moths! Disgusting but effective! So it seems like it needs a few weeks to "warm up" not sure why. So i have bought some more and it seems to be doing the same... moths flying around but ignoring the traps. fingers crossed it starts working in a few weeksOriginal review-------------------I placed all 5 around the house. Unfortunately they have not trapped a single moth. i even had one near a moth hotspot and i watched them all ignore it completely. Waste of time and money sadly.

The traps are good. My complaint is that the product is advertised as 5 traps and 5 "refill" pads, creating the expectation that there will be a total of 10 pads (5 as part of the traps and 5 refill pads). However,, in fact there are only 5 pads and so nothing to refill the traps. Using the word "refill" in these circumstances is misleading.
