DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!!!!!
DO NOT GET TRAPPED IN TO BUYING THIS GARBAGE!!! RECEIVED THE PRODUCT AND REMOVED IT FROM THE PACKAGING. IT IS VERY HEAVY. ONCE I OPENED THE DOOR I FOUND THE CHEEP PLASTIC SCREW HOLDING THE INTERIOR SHELF WERE BROKEN. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND AFTER A SERIES OF EMAILS THEY COULD NOT SEEM TO PINPOINT THE SCREW IN THEIR INVENTORY. THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL IS VERY AMBIGUOUS DOES NOT REALLY BELONG TO THIS PRODUCT. THE ELECTRONIC LOCK SETUP IS DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE AND UNABLE SET UP EVEN THE DATE AND TIME!!! I FINALLY GAVE UP AND WILL USE THE KEY TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE DOOR. I SHOULD HAVE RETURNED IT BUT IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. ALSO SINCE THEY SEEM UNABLE TO FIND THE SCREWS FOR THE SHELF (AND YOU CAN'T REMOVE IT) JUST GOING TO LEAVE THE SHELF ON THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT. THIS UNIT IS POORLY DESIGNED AND MADE WITH INFERIOR MATERIALS!! DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP OF THIS PRODUCT YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!.

Excellent safe.
This little safe is a great investment. Keep your secrets safe in this thing. Easy to set up and use immediately. This safe is not fire or water proof, however, you can insert documents into a fireproof bag and place inside the safe.

Hotel quality safe with gaudy gold accents
I got this 1.5cuft safe from YITAHOME to secure firearms and other things away from prying eyes and kiddos. The 1.5cuft safe is 17w x 14.5d x 10.5h and was very well packed at the factory to prevent any damage during shipping. The door is quite large, 14 7/8w x 7 7/8h, but because of the depth of the door the actual opening is just 11" x 7 1/4" and when closed the usable depth of the safe is only about 11 1/2". Also included with the safe are a fireproof bag for important documents, an emergency AA battery box that can provide temporary power to the lock, cheap concrete expansion anchors, and instructions for programming the lock. The 10" deep center shelf is removable. It's held in place with two plastic retaining pins that were broken on my unit. Removing the shelf isn't an easy process but it does make accessing the mounting holes for installation a lot easier. The safe has two pairs of oddly spaced mounting holes on the bottom and back. They're 9" apart on the bottom and 7 7/8" on the back, and neither set are centered. They can be used with wood framing if you happen to be screwing the safe into a firebreak between studs, otherwise plan on drilling your own mounting holes. If installing into concrete throw away the cheap anchors and get yourself some good ones. The battery operated lock mechanism has a digital LCD display, gaudy gold trim and unlocks with a numeric code or a bypass key. The display shows date and time and can show lock/unlock history. The safe supports a personal code and an administrative code, although the manual doesn't say what the difference is. The safe supports a "stealth" code entry that hides the digits as they're entered but you need to enable that mode every time. The safe has quite a few warts, however. First and most important, there's no silent mode. The safe makes noise every time a button is pushed and there's no way to turn off the sound, even temporarily. This should have been a programmable setting. Second, the time the access log is pretty useless because the time can be changed without unlocking the safe. Fail! Third, the stealth mode is great for hiding your access code from someone looking over your shoulder, so why isn't it the default? This should be a user selectable setting., Fourth, the setup and lock/unlock buttons should have been clearly marked on the keypad instead of overloading the "*" and "#" buttons. Better yet, setup and code changes should require pushing the button on the inside of the door. And finally, a quick reference sticker on the front would have been nice for those of us who don't use the safe all the time. This is a budget hotel quality safe that will serve to keep prying eyes away from the inside but won't stop a determined thief. It works well enough, but the warts keep it from being 5 stars.

very nice safe
The media could not be loaded. nice safe ideal for storing important documents and valuables to me. I think it is excellent because you can store the most important things in it and it also comes with a fire bag for your passport or identification, in a word it is great and a very good investment

Small but plenty of space
This is a nice little safe for closets. It's small but holds quite a bit. Easy to program as well. It does what it's supposed to for sure.
