These are a must with Leotards!
These are made from a thin, stretchy cotton knit. My daughter is 48” tall and wears a size 6 on the waist. Size 120 fit her perfectly -no extra room. She will probably need a sz130 once she grows into the 7/8 pant size. They’’re exactly what she needs for no show comfort.

Looks like a good product, but too small.
I'm an exercising fool, and I wanted some underwear which did not show so much under spandex. These for gymnasts looked great. However, even though I ordered an adult size L (my underwear size is really M), I received something appropriate for a skinny 12 year old. I think it is because the Chinese, where these are made, have no idea how big Americans are. So, these might be ok for children, or for a very, very skinny adult, but not for a normal American adult (i.e., one with 36" hips and weighing 130 lbs.). They did look like they were well made and would fit flat and be high cut on the legs, but I had to send them back due to their small size.

My 10 year old says they are comfortable. My daughter’s competitive dance team told her wear no underwear when using a leotard because it looks sloppy. My daughter didn’t want to do this during regular practice. This was a great solution. I didn’t get a complaint from the dance instructors so I’m going to say they didn’t peek through. She wore them so they must have been comfortable enough.

NOT High Waisted
Bought size 120 for my slim, petite 44 pound, 7 year old granddaughter. Based on reviews here, I expected them to fit just right, but they were not only too small, but were NOT high waisted. They fit more like a bikini/hip hugger style. The waistband would certainly show underneath her ballet tights and leotard. If you're looking for a brief to come up to the waistband of the dance tights, keep looking, this is not it.

sizing
The briefs fit well under the leotard. However, your sizing guide for kids has nothing to do with reality. The waist circumference by your guide seems to be for dolls not real kids. Your answer to my question did not help much. I ended buying size 110, and the briefs fit well, though my granddaughters waist circumference is not 14-16" but 21". 14-16" Is more like head circumference for 1-2 year olds, and that if the head is in the 50th percentile. I would suggest you revise your kids size guide.

Quality is decent and a good value for the price.
Update: so my daughter wore them for her recital for almost the whole day and she said shewas super comfortable.I ordered size 140 for my 7 year old daughter who weighs around 62lbs And 4ft 5” tall and fit just a tiny bit loose which is preferred. So far I like them so does my daughter.

Be cautious of sizing!
Followed measurement guidelines to find appropriate size. First ordered size 110 and they were far too small...they have absolutely no stretch. Reordered size 120 and they were not any better. They are cut very narrowly in the backside. Not like typical leotard panties.

👍
I read reviews and sized up to a 130 which was too big and then ordered 110 and so far so good but I would have to try the 120 but for now 110 was a good fit. Perfect for ballet, gymnastics and any Leo needs.
