Update: The chip I wrote about initially must have been from shipping as these have held up great!We just got these less than a week ago and already I noticed a chip on the corner of a plate. We’re not careless with our dinnerware. This would have been from normal use, dishwasher cleaning, etc. I’m really disappointed given the amount I spent on them, my perception of the brand and quality, and how much I like the styling. Our old set lasted probably 15 years. These clearly won’t last that long. :(

Very nice looking set. Very thick and heavy, seem durable and well made. Came with one broken bowl from shipping, but contacted seller and they immediately sent out a repalcement bowl at no cost. Very pleased. Only complaint is the first 16pcs were very light in color and the other 16pcs were very dark. I understand they are custom made and wont be exactly the same but the differences are a little dramatic in the darkness and lightness in color between the two 16pc sets. I personally dont think its a big deal. But its something you should be aware of it being a possibility if you think it would bother you. I probably just got unlucky.

32 piece set weighs 62 pounds! Two separate boxes within one larger brown box -- the brown box was torn on the bottom which made it nearly impossible to pick up without the dish boxes falling out. Don't know yet if they're ok or recipient will like them . . . they look interesting, just heavy ;-)

These are beautiful plates. There is a slight variation in color on some plates but that is what makes the set stunning. I bought a serve for 8 and love the square design. The bowl is a great size for a salad or cereal serving. The dinner plate is large enough to hold a good size steak as well as 2 sides. One plate arrived with a chipped corner,,, probably occurred in packing them. I emailed the seller and got an immediate response back. They were extremely professional and sent a replacement plate. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Only one small plate was broken when I received the packages. Other than that, love the look and feel of the set.

These were okay and actually survived shipping to another country without breakage but I bought two sets of the same color but the actual colors were not identical; one was bluish and the other greenish. It was very noticeable as they were all used at the same time. Very durable but they need to do a better job with the dyes.

Had large plate break in half when put under broiler with cheese on top of tuna, bread for 1 1/2 minutes.Could not find a site to try to replace!

dishes are really nice, love the coffee mugs too they are heavy but I feel they will last a long time and not chip easily. I bought a couple sets though and was disappointed to see the difference in color. but still I love them!
