the filter does not come out of the portafiller very easy, it has to be knocked out in a knock box. it needs to be easier to get out. using a tab or some magnetic device. the screen does not disperse the water well. the funnel is great it is perfect.I would recommend but not the screen.

This is a nice device to keep your coffee prep space nearly free of grinds. It has tiny magnets on the base which lock firmly onto the portafilter and comes with a puck screen to prevent backflow into the espresso machine. A worthy addition to your home barista gadget drawer.

Works very well as a coffee funnel when putting coffee into a portable filter. It may not be necessary but it does make the task easier.

I purchased this set for my Breville bambino. Note that it comes with one screen that fits a 54 mm port filter a magnetic funnel for putting coffee into the port filter.Note that in my second picture it is installed on my porta filter, but does not come with this porta filter. The unit has plenty of magnets to hold it into place. It is rather tall, so it may not fit in some grinders. Check your spacing just to make sure I am using this just to be cleaner when adding coffee it will work just fine for me.

One of the items I was missing for my espresso setup was a dosing funnel. I never grabbed one because I can’t use one with my grinder but learned I needed one when using my WDT since I make a mess everywhere. The fit and finish on this funnel is excellent. The magnets are strong enough, that the funnel never gets knocked off but not so strong I have trouble removing it. Not much more to say other then it just flat out works.The included stainless steel screen is a nice addition to the package. I have one already, but after months of repeated use and cleaning, its starting to looks like something you found on the ground. I really wanted to like this funnel. It's a pain having the grounds spill out around the poorly designed Breville portafilter.The funnel itself is nicely made and fits perfectly onto the portafilter. The additional puck screen is nice and works well. So, for that they get an extra star.However, as shown in the pictures, it doesn't fit my Breville barista espresso machine, even though they say it is compatible with Breville. They don't have a cutout for the grounds chute on the machine. So, this is completely worthless to me. Maybe I can make a cutout in it with an angle grinder. Ugh.Look elsewhere if you have a Breville Barista.

I like this MEION 58mm Espresso Dosing Funnel and 58.5mm Puck Screen Set. The magnets work well and the puck screen is nice and thick. I like the powder-coated black enamel on the dosing funnel. It is a bit large on the top.

I really like using this MEION 58mm Espresso Dosing Funnel and the puck screen that came with it. I have experienced with other funnels an issue where the magnets don't seem to hold the funnel in place when I have a filter basket that has a concave or rounded top. I noticed I don't have that issue with this funnel because of the way it was designed where the ridge to hold the funnel in place is located on the inside of the magnets and not on the outside like the other name brand funnel that I'm using with issues (see photos). In addition to that, since I like using my WDT and spreader before removing the funnel, this creates less mess and helps keep all the coffee grinds inside the filter basket, again due to it's design. So I'm really happy with this funnel - it's a little higher and makes it's easy for me to transfer ground coffee from my Niche stainless steel cup. I also noticed a major improvement when pulling shots with the puck screen - I get less channeling, more consistent extractions, and a cleaner group head when I'm done.As an Amazon Vine Voice, I provide unbiased reviews of products most people would need or want.
