I was very impressed with the quick preheating, I can use the glue gun in just a flash. Easy to handle trigger grip and the battery has lasted very well. First time with a cordless glue gun and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to purchase.

Would have given a higher rating except for the fact that it shuts off every 10 minutes and that'svery inconvenient when you'rein the middleof a project. I thought it only shut off after 10 minutes of non use! Other than that it's nice to have the flexibility of no power cord.

I originally brought this wireless glue gun to help me with my DIY projects (for temporarily attaching rough wood to a flat surface send it through my rather lovely Lumberjack thicknesser - https://amzn.to/3ToIdFd) - however inclement weather has prevented me from trying that, which turned out to be a blessing in terms of doing a proper review. Let me explain...I noticed that the gun came with a great selection of both clear and 'coloured' glue sticks. The coloured ones were sparkly and I thought could make a fun Christmas Card. So I decided to try it out first with one of those.Instructions are minimal, but the combined visual (LED)/audio (beep) made using it easy. After charging (USB C cable - which all my devices are converging on now - wonderful) it up (light changes colour - red flashing light to green flashing light) you turn it on (beep indicates it has come on) and leave it until it ha heated up (red steady LED changes to green) then it is ready to use.Now, I initially found this very difficult to use with the green sparkly glue stick, which is why my Christmas card looks like a three year old child has done it. But it became apparent to me why this was the case. The coloured glue sticks were shorter than the normal ones, and the internal mechanism which pushes the stick forward (when you pull the trigger) must be further back in the 'barrel' of the gun. So after a while the short glue stick no longer advanced. The problem was fixed when I inserted a second glue stick behind the short one - and then this would push the glue stick through fine.I would never have discovered this if I had just used the clear (longer) sticks!This mastered, the gun works well. I've used it a few times, albeit briefly, and not had to recharge. The included extras are brilliant - even the little 'mat' which catches any drips whilst heating up. The dried glue comes of this very easily - and it is a really nice addition.The gun comes with everything you need - charger cable, decent assortment of sticks, and mat. And the wireless operation gives you so much more flexibility - you can take it to wherever you need to use it. So whilst I can't comment on longevity since I've only had it for a week or so - all early indications are very positive.Thanks for reading this far!

The is a robust and well made item. It comes with a lot of glue sticks and some glitter ones too. It charges reasonably quickly and is much easier to use than a cabled device. The glue itself is very strong, we fixed the fairy ornament in the photo that had lost a wing.
