This does help with my language course. The biggest plus is the pronunciation guide because that is my hardest problem with the language. I just wish I could find a grammar guide, too.

Love this little book!
It's perfect for what I'm looking for. Class starts next month and they recommended this little dictionary and I'm so glad I got it.

Handy little dictionary
While this is a physically small book, that makes it handy to tuck into a pocket or the side of your backpack. This is at least the third dictionary I've tried, and it seems to have more modern vocabulary than the others. Glad I got this -- it's easy to grab if I'm just blanking on a particular word, in either direction.

The book is not well made it is flimsy, it is not an easy read and it wasn't well written for the price?

Scots Gaelic
Incredible way to learn Scottish Gaelic! Has pronunciation which makes speaking it aloud much easier and slightly differs from Irish Gaelic. Can't wait to use this on my upcoming trip to Scotland!

Not helpful for beginners
It doesn't give the genitive singular forms or the plural forms of nouns, it does not give the verbal noun form for verbs, and no table is given for the irregular verbs. It's sole redeeming feature is the International Phonetic Alphabet pronunciation guides for its Gaelic entries. I don't know why it scores higher than 3, it's not all that helpful. It's no bargain, as you will still have to use another dictionary!

Small yet comprehensive
Great dictionary. Contains most all the words your ever likely to need whilst keeping a small format.
