ASICS Men's Gel-Venture 9 Running Shoes

I have a wide foot - about half of the shoes I try on are too narrow. But I don't have a REALLY wide foot I guess. At least not as wide as the Asics X-Wide is expecting. Unfortunately, there were no styles available from Amazon for this shoe in the standard Asics width (which has always fit me well in the past). That's on me. I gambled. On the bright side, a pair of sorbothane insole inserts and they fit great. Which is better I suppose than needing to add inserts and not having room for them. I tried these on some pretty technical trails today. These are NOT advertised as trail shoes but they had nice lugs on the bottom, today was trail day not road day, and I was impatient to try them out. My Hoka's have become a little uncomfortable. Well, after 35 minutes it was clear that just because these have some nice lugs on the tread they are not trail shoes. Too flexible. That's not a ding as they aren't pretending to BE trail shoes. I think they will be great on the road. I will find out Monday morning. In terms of fit/shape/quality...they are great. And for the price, probably pretty hard to beat. Just mind the width if you decide to gamble on the X-Wide.

I received exactly what I ordered. I have large feet and the extra wide size had enough room and felt comfortable. Although, I have not worn it for an extended period of time as such I cannot comment on how it feels when worn for long.

These are pretty good. Not as comfortable as the 6 series. These 9 series come in Extra wide. The 6 series came in 4E. Who knows what extra wide is. They certainly are not as wide as the 6 series 4E. But they are fairly wide. And they are supportive and wearing well. One bonus: where the earlier series heel notch/tab broke down fast if just slipping shoe on without untying (which I always do), these have a rigid heel tab which makes it real easy to slip on without untying and after almost 6 months of use are showing no breakdown or wear at all. And I use them daily.

This is my second pair as I wore out the first pair. Note I said that "I" wore them out. These are solid running shoes that I use daily. They are incredibly comfortable and provide the support needed during walks and jogs. When I wear these out (and I will) then I'll be back to get another pair of the same. They are that good.

I love the color & support these shoes give. I was so happy when they finally got a size ai could wear because these are my colors! 🥰

Most amazing shoe. My husband was having foot pain with every shoe we tried. Theses shoes fixed his foot pain issue. Not saying it would help everyone with for issues. But it is a great shoe and worth the money.

I ordered these for my son, who is in Navy Bootcamp. He called yesterday stating that he loves them! He said they were "Like running on clouds!" It shaved a minute off of his 1.5 miles run and he passed is final physical assessment easily!I 100% recommend these shoes!

Love these sneakers. Put on many walking miles a year ago in Europe. Now a year later using them again walking all over the USA. Also used them as everyday sneakers when not traveling. Also use them to play Ultimate Frisbee on grass.
