Arrived on time and was exactly what I required

Good size dust hood, I'm using with my lathe. I cut away the filter bars on the outlet at allow shavings through, easily done with a small saw. I works as you would expect - I have it connected to an old dust extractor unit I bought secondhand and it works brilliantly, especially removing dust. I looks good, I mounted it on a frame to stand behind the lathe. Excellent value too, I was going to make one from timber but at this price it seemed daft to do so!

Great unit and perfect size for behind my lathe,

Used to upgrade chip extraction on my 9" Multico surface planer. Cut the fins out of the 100mm end to ensure it doesn't get blocked. May get another to make a small down draft table.

I use this with my 1.5 HP, 850 CFM dust collector when I'm using my lathe or miter saw. Definitely works better on the lathe; miter saws are notoriously difficult to do satisfactory dust collection. The only real solution there is a wrap-around hood behind the saw, which is not very practical. This unit does about as good a job as can be expected. Of course how well it works depends a lot on the dust collection built into the miter saw - which is sadly, usually not very good. Still, it's as good a solution as can be had without something that's custom built.

Il faut tout de même un énorme système d'aspiration pour qu'il soit efficace.

Being a woodturner I create lots of sanding dust. I use this attached to a 2hp dust collector with a clothes dryer vent hose to extract dust. It is very efficient in polling the dust away from me and into the dust collector bag.

Me hubiera resultado más apropiado de haber tenido un diámetro interior en la bocana de conexión acorde con las medidas estándar de tubos de PVC desagüe, no obstante, he podido acoplarlo por la facilidad del plástico ABS
