Product not spooled like the photo

This is my favorite thread for hand stitching. This would be 5 stars except the thread is advertised as being on a spool but it showed up wrapped around a piece of cardboard. It would have been nice to be able to store it with my other thread or to be able to photograph it for promo purposes but so it goes.
