A Good Addition to my Glock 19
Installed the Laserlyte on my Glock 19 Gen 3. The installation was fairly easy I tightened the battery compartment with my pliers to secure the cap, replaced the Glock sight with this one and used blue loctite on the set screw to hold it in securely, adjusted the laser beam and secured the screws with blue loctite let the gun sit over night to let the loctite set and then went to the range the next day and had fun. At 7 - 10 yards the laser was dead on and the new sight did very well on metals out to 25 yards...I shot a total of 200 rounds without any problems from the sight and laser...I will update in the future on how it is holding up.Follow up on February 13, 2015......shot another 150 rounds after micro adjusting the sight and it works great.Follow up on February 18, 2015.....shot 120 rounds tactical course in the evening using the laser sight the whole time and 20 of the rounds were Speer LE +P loads...the Laserlyte performed flawlessly stayed on target the whole time....so 470 rounds later and the Laserlyte is still performing to my expectations.

Almost perfect but
The sight arrived on schedule, installed quickly on my Glock 36 - .45 ACP, the open sight adjusted perfectly using a bore sight and the laser light adjusted almost to a perfect sight then the adjustment screw stripped. I contacted Laserlyte about obtaining another screw and their automatic answer was they would get back to me soon. I contacted Amazon and they refunded enough to pay for the screw and the trouble to find it. Still no word back from Laserlyte and I am talking to my local gun shop to see if they can locate the screw. The sight works as long as I remember to adjust for the out of adjustment laser sight. It is close enough to stay on the target at 50 yards, so it is now my carry gun day and night. It still works and stays almost adjusted after several trips to the range and several clips of ammo fired. I just wish it would adjust another half turn. As soon as I find another screw and get it adjusted correctly I will probably raise it to 4 or 5 because it fits in my concealed carry and it will light up a target in low light as advertised.

Great option for a laser
I have these on all my Glock's. Some people find them acquard to use I don't. I like the fact that they are small and integrated into the sight since 2 of my Glock's are Gen 1 and don't have a rail . On my other Glock's , Gen 4 these leave the rail available for a Streamlight TLR1 . And when I remove the light I still have the laser. I just wish they made these for 1911's as well .

Low quality product
RUN from this product. 10 rounds ought to be enough to make the battery door spring open and hit you in the face. If you're lucky you'll get 3 hours of continuous life from this thing. I've been through 2 of these already. There's a reason they stopped making them.

Works great. You won't need a special holster
Works great. You won't need a special holster. Inserting batteries is a nightmare. I have two of them. I recommend them. Go to Sonic DQ and get a large barreled straw then to the hardware store for a small dowel that fits inside the straw. It makes it a little easier to replace the batteries.

Unreliable
Worked, pistol sat in a drawer for a few weeks and for no reason at all it stopped working. Put in new batteries. Still would not work. Then started working sometimes. Tried different batteries different amounts of torque on closure screw cap, didn't matter. Does not work at all in cold weather. This is a toy not a device to bet your life on. When you need it most, it will fail.

Put them on myself.
Helped me sight in to shoot better. I could see when I had that low and left Glock pull :). Easy to adjust. But honestly, laser is more of a training aide to me than something I'll depend on in a live-firing situation.

Worth avoiding
This is an incredibly low quality product, please do not buy. Mine could not hold a zero at all, and i would rather have plain old OEM sights than this low quality mess. Installation is horrible, and is almost guaranteed to break the product. The light will often turn on with minimal pressure, leading to lower life out of the battery. Think about it this way, if i couldn't trust it to keep zero at the range, how could i rely on it to protect my life? Do yourself a favor and buy a higher quality product.
