Why does this say no animal products on the lable but has ghee and honey?

the label says it's Vegetarian, honey and ghee are allowed. underneath it that it contains dairy. sugar, honey and ghee are in 99% of chavanprash rasayanas. they help to metabolize the herbs and antioxidants into the body.

Does this need to be refridgerated after opening container?

No. It says to store at room temperature. That's what I have been doing and it stays well. Just make sure to keep the lid closed tight to prevent it from drying out. I don't use it as traditional "jam" but eat a spoonful by itself.

Why does the description say sugar-free if it has sugar? (label)

Hello, the Jam does not contain any additionally added sugar. The label shows sugar from natural ingredients that goes in the making of the jam.

Some questions: 1) does it pass ca prop 65 test limits for lead, arsenic etc? 2) is the honey cooked? 3) why does label show 0% fat, even with ghee?

There is no ghee in this recipe nor any honey. I don’t know about ca prop 65, but the product is certified organic.
