The borehole is too shallow and will not allow you to tighten fully. There is 1/8 inch further that it should tighten. Tried first on a 3/4-inch rod and will not come close to tightening down. Then tried on an 1 inch tubing and it would tighten, yet I could rotate the bracket with my hand. Certainly is not going to hold a gun or bow in position.

The individual light mounting clamps were easy to install. They came with a rubber. Insert that allowed the clamp to compress and tighten around the bar I was attaching it to. The  two screws that secured.the clamp were easy to thread and I was able to tighten them down so they did not move. The clamps were a perfect fit on my side-by-side rack that I was attaching them to. I would give them a five out of five.

I have some small LED fog lights that are just the right size for my motorcycle, however they are made with a mounting bracket meant to bolt on a flat surface.These clamps will mount on to the round tubes of my crash bar, giving me a perfect interface for the bracket on my lights. Very solidly built, and the only reason I deducted a star is that the photos on Amazon show these as having a very smooth finish. However, what I’ve received has a fairly grainy texture, almost but not quite rough.Given my application, the finish doesn’t really matter as these will work perfectly, but I expected something else. It bothers me that vendors will sometimes substitute items that aren’t exactly as advertised.
