A very helpful, well-organized overview of human health disorders
This book is well-written, well-organized, and providing key information on the various ills that nurses and other health professionals may encounter in their patients. The different health problems are nicely organized by body systems. As a Ph.D. Biologist with a completed career in medical research, I certify that the explanations are clear and complete. I even found a few conditions I’d not known about previously. Good study methods are suggested, with access to a free “cheat sheet” offered at the conclusion of the book. This is an excellent overview of human health conditions.

A book that we should all read and have as a practical guide at home even if we are not nurses.
Knowing, as the author Aquino expresses it, all the diseases and their possible causes, symptoms and treatment as if you were a nurse is a support for every family at home to know many of the diseases in family members. Self-medicating is not good but knowing the causes, symptoms and possible treatments is not harmful to anyone. Congratulations for this magnificent work.

Breaks down intricate disease processes into engaging, relatable explanations that stick
Whether you need to prep for exams or clinicals, this book boosts both pathophysiology fundamentals and practical nursing judgment. The author's teaching style and nursing perspective make a dense topic feel doable. I'm so glad I chose this simplified yet comprehensive resource. It gives you confidence that you'll recall concepts when it matters most.

Helpful resource but with a ton of proofreading errors
Not sure if it’s just on the Kindle version but there were countless fragments, redundancies, punctuation errors, and proofreading mistakes that were distracting at times. That aside, still some information in here for anyone interested in pathophysiology and/or is taking a course on the subject.

Regretful
Did not meet my expectation at all, its not simplified its more of complicated explanation, this book doesn’t do justice from a nursing context.

No one proof read this book before publishing it
There are words missing and double sentences. Not all diseases and disorders are covered in this book. Overall, its easier to read than my pathophysiology book which has an unnecessary amount of information that can be confusing for a nursing student when trying to study.

Missing bonus, patho cheat sheet
I received my pathophysiology for nurses, simplified book on time, but it was missing the bonus patho cheat sheet. I am very disappointed

Very simple and informational
I am not a nurse nor am I studying to be a nurse. I purchased this book to just learn more about different illnesses and my body. To be specific, to know more about the different health problems I have. As someone who is not a nurse nor studying to be one, this book is so easy to understand. Of course, there are medical terms that I may not recognize, but the context and information that this book provides makes everything very easy to understand. I love how the sections that it is organized into is very simple and direct. The heading of the health problem is outlined and then the excerpt is well organized underneath it. Overall, this book is very well worth the purchase as I can just keep this book and whenever I need to look something up in the future, I can do so. Hats off to the author for making this book an easy and very information read for even someone who is not a nurse. Thank you.

Comprehensive and Accessible
A comprehensive and accessible guide for trainee nurses without an overuse of medical jargon. The book is very logically structured and is a good reference guide for those wanting to better understand the symptoms of different medical issues.
