This fit my power recliner perfectly. The only difference was the control wires were different form the original. I thought all I would have to do was replace the motor but I had to replace everything. The switch, the power supply and motor. It was very easy to install even with replacing everything. Now the recliner works like it is brand new.

Came as full kit, motor-power suppy-switch. Installed easy, perfect fit. Works better than original motor that came with our recliner sofa, smooth and vastly more quiet. Very happy with this replacement motor.

This wad a good price, and came in quickly. It was an easy install, and works great!

Installed, Never got to use it. The cotter pin came out catarpulting the motor 6 - 8 inches outward pulling wires out of the motor. Then my Son bought another one for me. That one was defective it would not raise the recliner.You could get out of the recliner and raise it. Once you sat in it, it would start to go down on its own.. The control started to heat up also. That one was returned.

Looks like the unit I was trying to replace, but is not. However, when installing, it did fit and works OK.My old unit had three anchor connection on each side for adjustment when the unit slides. The new unit had only two, but we still made it fit using the two points to anchor the two connecting arms. The screws included with the new unit included a anchor bolt (instead of the bolts on the old unit) and was missing a cotter pin, which I used a wire tie, could have used a nail but decided against. It would have been nice to have instructions or at least a picture on installation for a reclining chair, but the unit could be used for many applications, so they did not have any. The bottom line is, this unit save us from buying another reclining chair for a minimum cost in replace parts. It was just very hard to find the right part from all the options out there. Verifying the two ends for the right anchor points and connections, Number of holes on the sliding plastic block, the proper length of the unit on how they describe the measurements from end to end, the electrical connections and its exit point. You have to use the new wiring system that comes with the new unit.

It fits very nicely in my recliner. I'd say it was a fairly easy replacement, although wire routing and power supply mounting was somewhat of a challenge. I had to use wire ties to mount the power supply since the wires weren't long enough to reach the original power supply mounting location. The motor action is somewhat slower than the original motor, meaning it doesn't recline and decline as fast as the other one did, but for me is not a big issue. Arrived sooner than expected.

So I agree with other reviewers that the lack of instructions can be a challenge. I took pictures of the insides of mine just to be safe, and have a matching chair that didn’t have a broken motor that I could also consult as a reference. That being said, it was a pretty simple fix. I loved that it comes with an extra length of cord in case you have a ways to go to plug it in. I also love that it comes with a new switch. Just in case your original switch went bad or didn’t fit. Awesome! Quieter than original motor. Only running for a day, so hope it lasts longer than original.

Purchased this for a replacement for a recliner and it was too large. Didn't return it because I had another recliner and a couch with 2 recliners built in... this was too large for all of them.
